Hi Guyz. I have few questions, could some please try to answer that.

1) I have crs 464 with 5 years of foreign work experience. What are the chances of getting a nomination from Ontario in the next human capital priority stream draw under NOC 2174?

2) I am a software developer, and confused between NOC 2173 and 2174, they look kind of similar. As of now I have selected 2174 but not sure if that would fine, can anyone advise on the difference between the 2 NOC?

3) As per the Express entry my CRS is 464, but there is a separate selection grid for OINP where minimum 69 points are required in order to be qualified. There if the work experience is more than 5 years, next 2 more points are added. If nomination is granted through express entry then what is the significance of that selection grid?

Hi,
Post the nomination from OINP, what documents are required by IRCC. Is it everything you already shared for OINP or only medical and PCC?

hello everyone. I'm new here and looking for someone's advice.
I received a NOI , based on my crs score 466 and NOC 2175 and 6 years of foreign experience. But I'm not sure if my crs was calculated correctly by EE system. I got points for 1 year work experience in Canada , however I have 11 months and 3 days of Canadian work experience, but the system calculated it automatically towards 1 year so I got NOI from Ontario based on 466 crs score. if I calculate my crs by myself without work experience in Canada it goes below 460. crs range for my NOI was 460-472. However the system calculated it automatically (it did ask the months only, without the exact dates ). so I guess it can't contradict it's own system? Canadian work experience is not a requirement for human capital stream for OPNP

Does anyone know if it's going to be an issue for receiving a nomination?
Hey, any update on your application?

This should not be an issue. A friend got got ITA last year based on 11 months of work experience in Canada. IRCC calculates duration using hours. Make your reference letter states that you work 35-40 hours per week.

How many hours do work per week?

I got information from another thread...i think license is not necessary until your country give it so. Like in India, there is no concept of license, your education itself is proof...in this case, license is not required... whereas applying from Canada it is necessary

The officer would want to know if you can practice or eligible to practice your profession in Canada. From my experience, you are required to submit a letter from the provincial engineering body with your application. You will not be required to have P.Eng status.
In Alberta , a letter of no objection is issued in less than a month by APEGA.
In Sask, a letter showing you have been assigned confirmatory exams is sufficient.
In Ontario, I never had the experience. But I would think a letter of assigned exams is sufficient too or a letter of EIT status from PEO.
I generally would think any engineer NOC should submit a similar letter. Will follow up your application.
What your OINP status now? Assessment or DIP?

Is it necessary to get a license for NOC 2147?

I recieved NOI from Ontario in the recent draw (13 Feb). I'm not including my current employment in the work experience section of my OINP application as I don't want to let my employer know that I'll be moving to Canada soon. However, my passport and resume will show that I am currently working with XXX company as YYY. Will Ontario ask me for my current employment reference letter????
