I did.

NOI - 1 August

You should get yours in a few days... but you might not be able access the website due to the system maintenance to be carried out.

Please I have a quick question...

Have there been anyone who got DIP and still got refused or ADR?

If yes, please give us your experience, or that of someone you know.

Thank you.

Just noticed nominations given to some profiles submitted on the 23rd. I meanwhile contacted them and asked about the quota. They said they still haven't reached the quota limit for this year. So that's good news I guess....hoping for the best.
What about NOI? Do they give noi within this year? No NOI after August. Any idea?

What kind of maintenance do they with the portal? The portal looks same always.

Nomination- August 15
Submitted- Sept 07
Assessment- Sept 15
DIP- Waiting
its been over 60 days, I called and all they say is high volume of application and 30-60 days is just average processing time. I wonder how long it would take.
Anyone who got nominated for the notifications received on Aug 15?

As per website:
https://www.ontario.ca/page/oinp-application-processing-times-and-nominations-issued

Annual nominations
Each year, the federal government, through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allocates a certain number of nominations to the Ontario government (OINP).

In 2019:

  • Ontario received an allocation of 6,650 nominations and additional 250 nominations specifically for temporary foreign workers in intermediate skilled occupations (National Occupational Classification [NOC] - Skill Level C) through the federal government’s NOC C initiative
  • as of November 14, 2019, 6,136 nominations have been issue.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This means from 10th Oct to 14thNov They issued nominations for 103 only ( 6033 - 6136)

Thanks for information. This looks a good news. 514 nominations still remain. It means about 1000 NOI can be issued. By the way, Do you know what additional 250 means? Are they included in 6136?

To exclude those under the federal government’s NOC C initiative, there are still 514 nominations to be issued this year. From the information provided, it implies that an average of 4.12 nominations were issued daily between (103 nominations/25 days) Oct 10 - Nov 14.

The number of working days from when they conclude their system maintenance (Nov 18) to the last working day of the year (Dec 30) is 30 days. Hence, to exhaust the remaining 514 nominations for the year, an average of 17.13 nominations (514 nominations/30 days) will have to be issued daily as from Nov 18 to the last working day of the year.

This will increase the average daily nominations from 4.12 to 17.13 which is a positive one. However, this position will only hold true if OINP chooses to utilize the remaining 514 nominations by the end of the year.

By the way, we don’t know how many distributed NOIs remains for nominations. Last NOI issue was Tech draw in Aug and Job offer stream open in Sep/23. Timeline wise they may almost have nominations because three month past. I don’t think that there are many issued NOI for 514 nominations. Do they have to issue new NOIs?

Hi everyone,
I would appreciate a lot if you could help me out/advise on my situation so far.

I have 454 CSR points (I am principal applicant, accompanying my spouse and child). Created EE profile on 30.August 2019.
My NOC code is: 2147 (Computer Engineer). I was hoping that OINP will issue a NOI to me, however as I have understood and read so far there are many "pending" applications and probably they will not make any more draws for 2019. Am I right?

My IELTS results expires at 20th March 2020. Having in mind that it takes approx 60 days (or more) in total to get Nomination from Ontario (after receiving NOI) and after that one need to wait for express entry draw to occur and send them documents again... do you think I should start with IELTS preparation again?

Somebody knows where we would be able to see OINP targets for 2020 including NOC codes and number of nomination that Ontario is going to get?

You can view webpage regarding techdraws:
last techdraw was held on Aug 1st.. and there are likely chances to conduct one draw before Dec end.
