Do people usually reach out to the province when the application has passed the estimated timeline? I am on the 58th day as of the day and I am thinking of reaching out. Any thoughts? suggestions?

I think patience is the key at the moment. It seems there are quite a lot of applications being assessed.

The way it works is, if Ontario exhausts their quota, they cannot nominate you for the particular year, but already submitted application will be processed and nominations will be issued in the next calendar year when they get their quota for that year. There are also chances that Ontario might get few hundred nominations extra if they exhaust it before the year end, last year they got 100 or so extra nomination quota after their initial quota was exhausted
Thanks for explaining that. I hope everyone gets nominated this year.

I think when they say 30-60 days they mean business days instead of calendar days so that technically is 90 calendar days as per my calculations.

I don't quite agree tho.

Before now, the entire processing time has been within 30-60 days. There's probably a pike in number of request at the moment.

Congratulations.

Quick one: Did you receive an email to notify you of status change when you got DIP? Or you just kept checking your application for updates?

I submitted my application 12th sept. No movement yet. And OINP is already moving applications after me. Could there be something wrong with my application?
