It seems no one has got NOI as of now. Its just that they've updated. Should wait till someone confirms that they got NOI. Either way I think they will start issuing it by tonight at best.
Yeah I am constantly visiting the forum to see if anyone has received the NOI. It been almost a day since they announced that portal is open but yet to see anyone receiving the NOI.

Hi,

Regarding OINP, Could someone please clarify about following matters:

1) OINP is going to nominate 6,600 immigrants in 2018 according to their latest announcement, so the question is what proportion of that figure will be allocated to the program "Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream"?

2) Do they mainly select candidates with work experience in Information and Communications Technology-related occupations? Is there any chance for other occupations such as civil/mechanical/electrical engineers to receive NOI?

3) Based on CRS distribution until 4th January, there are almost 19,000 candidates with crs between 400 and 446, and we all know that people with good crs scores (I mean above 400) are entered the pool on a daily basis. Therefore, the number of OINP allocation for 2018, which is 6,600, is far less than the potential candidates. I was wondering what their criteria is for choosing people? Is it really just based on the date that one submits their profile?

Thank you in advance.

Allocation to the respective streams will be decided by them. No one knows the amount of allocation they assign for each stream.

It isn't ICT candidates which receive special privileges all the time. Province's target specific NOC's at times which are in-demand. It can be anything. There are lot of candidates who got their profile processed sooner than the one with ICT NOC's. Everyone has the chance to apply and be processed through OINP, ICT candidates alone isn't enough to run the province, don't you think? ;)

Their basic criteria is simple. Have you chose "Ontario" or "All provinces" and you have 400, then you will receive NOI.
As far as allocated 6,600 that's a welcome sign for candidates with <400. They may show surprises like previous year :)

Thank you in advance.

I would recommend that you can withdraw your application and then resubmit when they re-open NOI again this year 2018.
All the Best!

@VikramK i submitted my profile in last year Septmeber. My CRS point is 429. I didn't receive any NOI yet as well. What am i supposed to do? Shall i apply for OINP? or wait for NOI. Please help.

Sorry to hijack the post. I am at 430 but want to try to get NOI from Ontario as I've been waiting for an ITA since July. I just want to know how I should recreate my EE profile? Can it still be under the same CG Key account, simply withdraw application and create a new profile? Or should I create a new CG Key account, and delete the current one.. Would it make a difference? Please reply if you know of such cases from experience.. thanks

One person reported NOI so far. His profile is from 3rd of January (a rookie with barely 1 year of experience), NOC is not known.
It seems that they are checking profiles from this year

Dear All,

OINP is a great opportunity for many candidates who have lower CRS Score. The year 2017 was great for canadian immigration and we are expecting to continue this trend in future. Our seniors
have a great thread on OINP 2017 and majority of them received the Nomination, I think a separate thread is more convenient.

Hi Friends,

What NOC CODE we should use for PROCESS SPECIALIST job title?
Please someone help me.

Thank you.

Hi I had recreated the profile on Jan 3rd and still have 400 CRS points. Do you think I should withdraw and recreate again today or wait to see if I get an ITA - maybe tonight? Need suggestions!!!
Saw announcement on Ontario's site today that they gave 340 NOIs to CRS -440-446. Does that mean that they are looking for higher CRS? What is the point these folks will anyway get an ITA. Anyone with lower CRS for NOI? Please post. All the Best to all

Guys, I have a question. I'm an inland applicant with work experience in India for 2 years in an Investment bank. Eligible under FSWP My points are 413 without Canadian degree, im still pursuing my diploma here (Ontario) which will add up the total to 428 without Canadian experience. Wanted to know the probability of getting OINP with the current score of 413?

Also, is the OINP issued to only out-land FSW applicants or inland as well? Please respond.

Irrespective of the "lands", they will issue NOI, who met the minimum criteria.
You will receive yours soon, keep an eye on http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html for updates.

Yes, it certainly looked like a drunken decision.
However, they also state that, "The OINP is managing the volume of applications to the HCP stream at this time. The OINP will be issuing NOIs on a regular basis to applicants, who at minimum, have a CRS of 400 and meet all eligibility criteria."

Wait with patience and hope :)
