Hi Guys,

I hope someone can advise me. I was wondering whether I can proceed not to declare previous jobs that is not related to the NOC that I am claiming points for.

I currently have 8 years experience with ICT. This is my current job. I have all documents related to ICT. I have two previous jobs back in 2007-2008 that is totally not related to ICT. Both engineering jobs. Can you advise me whether i should just exclude this from my application? Which option is better?

Option A: include both jobs in my application and compose a letter of explanation that I was not able to get reference letters with job description. I was just able to Obtain standard letter without job description And tell them I am not claiming points for these previous jobs.

Option B: not include it on my application alltogether. However, they did state to include all paid jobs. i hope someone can enlighten me.

You don't need to submit proofs for all your work ex.. only ones for which you are claiming points.. & writing the same in LoE would be clear communication

I created my profile on July 8th but haven't received NOI from OINP.
NOC 2173;
CRS Score: 400
Anyone applied during that time, received any updates ?

Recreate again. Chances are you'll get an NOI next week

Hi.

Thanks. But on selecting all provinces only authorisation for British Columbia is asked and not for Ontario.

This had happend to me too when I was re-creating my profile but since I know there must be at least two authorisation checkboxes, I played with that page. I am a programmer so I am patient with those silly bugs and glitches. :)

A trick to show the authorisation checkbox is to select Ontario only, then select British Columbia, then All provinces. Hope this works for you.

Thank you for your response.
Does recreating the profile will increase the chances of getting NOI ?

Yes. Ontario clearly says on their website that if you are not receiving an NOI then you should recreate your profile as they look at the recently created profiles when sending NOIs

Hi Guys, regarding proof of funds. Can i just download the statement of account online and upload that document? I have money in the bank. How did you guys show proof of funds? Does it have to be an official document from the bank? Bank has to provide a letter to OINP? Thank you.

Hi,

You need to have a letter from the bank that you have access to XXXX amount of money.
That letter should mention your Name an other personal details clearly.
Besides that it should be stamped & signed from authorised bank official.
Good Luck

i have got the same Job description and i did Bachelors in Computer Engineering so i selected my NOC as 2147 for last 2 years of my job and 2281 for the first two
i have been working with the same company for 4 years now

but did you write your job responsibilities on Affidavit yourself and submitted it ? i am afraid i didnot do that :(

Well, I composed the aforementioned details in the affidavit and my senior colleague is ready to sign it. I shared this , so that I can get some suggestion also it might be useful for forum members.

Guess I can proceed as it matches with my NOC. Obviously adding tool details.
