Yes you are very much eligible for OINP. One needs 400 + and all the acc to NOC 2011 list are required for OINP. Your NOC 2171 is most elibile NOC for Canadian Immigration. Even you can apply for SINp as well which is faster process than OINP as SINP is online process and OINp is paper based. But for both you need stable funds so manage your POF

Ontario anticipates that it will receive its 2017 nomination allocation from the federal government before the end of November 2016, and the province expects to be in a position to accept applications for some streams in six months.

I REALLY hope they did not mean November + 6 months.

Yes I am 110 % sure that there is no need of 7 each. You need only 400+ in CRS for OINP & for SINP you need to qualify their 60 points criterion along with EE account criterion. Check you inbox ,I sent points calculator of SINP program in which Noc 2171 is available. So you are eligible for that as well.. Check your Inbox

Hi All,

With respect to OINP and IELTS marks, wanted to know if with these IELTS marks, Can I expect OINP invitation? Reading - 6.5, Writing - 6.5, Listening - 8.5, Speaking - 7.5. My total score for Express entry is 409.

My job code is 2171. Please suggest

if you can rewrite ielts and increase socres to 7.5 reading, 7.5 writing , keeping rest the same then your score will increase quite a bit...

Someone recently told me that OINP is going online. Is that true also, is it going to be something like MonPojet or SINP Oasis? I don't know if it was an online system already since I am a rookie. What we can expect, anyone has any clue?
