Hi all,

I applied one year master degree program at UOIT.
After study, I am going to apply OINP.
According to OINP description, at least one year master degree is eligible for application to master stream.

- Am I right?
- Is there anyone applied with one year master?
- Anyone rejected ?

Please share info if any.

Yes you can apply oinp if you have one yr Master degree ... one of my friend have one year master degree and he got nomination
 
I submitted on March 7, and they received on March 9, 2016. I am still waiting for AOR...
Finger crossed.

I got AOR today 18th Jul 2016

I application received on 14th Jan 2016 . I am CEC, NOC 2171 . Lets see how long they take from now.

So you get the Nomination without any email notification? The nomination just directly sent to your place, is that right?

Congrats Pentos! Please help me with a query. Does AOR mean that Ontario is confirming the receipt of your documents or does it mean that they have granted you the 600 points? I am confused regarding the difference between AOR and Nomination Received.

AOR means Acknowledgment of receipt ... Nomination word itself self explanatory ....

As you mentioned, AOR is just the confirmation ...

OINP should be on the March applicants now. A friend that applied March 23rd has not received AOR yet. I will update once he does.
 
Someone named Genesis on another thread submitted application March 8th received AOR today July 25th.

AOR just stands for Acknowledgment of Receipt for your documents from the Ontario government. As per 600 points, I think those are only valid if you have applied to the Express Entry program first and then tried to get those extra points by being nominated.

In my case I applied directly for provincial nomination for Masters students stream. This stream does not have points.

Guys, Finally received my Ontario Nomination package today ....

Applied Jan 19th
AOR May 25th
Approved July 25th
Received July 27th
