Hi everybody,
Since I have work experiences in one of the NOC groups that Ontario selected for PNP on May 31, 2019, I am proceeding with the PNP document preparation.
I noted that one of the criteria is the you need work experience for at least 1 continuous year. I am currently living in the US with H-1B. I started working with my current employers on 10/5/2017 but I had to be on leave from 10/1/2018 and 10/24/2018 because of my H-1B processing delay by the U.S. government. These days are not considered as vacation. I did not work or get paid. Since basically I am four days apart from the one calendar year to be considered 1 continuous year, am I not eligible for the PNP? I really hope I could proceed with the PNP. I would be a big upset if I cannot. Anyone who is familiar with this?
