Ontario Photo ID card - Processing time

Hi All, Anyone applied for Ontario Photo ID card recently to understand the latest processing time ?

This is for applying OHIP as there is a potential medical emergency for newly landed. Opened a Bank account now, but wait time for the monthly bank statement is 4 week to the end of November.
Service Ontario is not accepting the bank statement stamped by the bank as address proof , other than the monthly statement. Any advice ?

Estimate 4-6 weeks. Why do you need a photo id card for newly landed (PR, work permit, student)? This is if you don’t have a driver’s license.

Don't need ontario photo ID card to apply for OHIP. (Basically same or similar requirements for both)
