In light of what happened when Quebec in February, this seems like a disaster! Ontario has one of two options:
1.to use a cap-based criteria just like what Quebec did, and say they will just process the first ~2500 uploaded applications, or
2.use a score based system for those who applied, which turns it into tier 2 Express Entry. too exhausting! this can also be legally challenged if they do not have the procedure.

We’re improving our system:
Ontario is committed to providing an efficient and streamlined application processing system. Improvements to the OINP application process will be implemented in the coming months – including a move to an online application processing system. Our goal is to make it easier to apply, and to improve processing times.
