Ontario Graduate Certificate programs

Hi,

Guys, I am going for a Ontario Graduate Certificate program in jan2014. My qualification is B.E (Mechanical) my academics are not Impressive though i have 2years work experience, I just want to know whether these certificate programs will be useful later in job perspectives ?
I do wish to pursue masters but my acads are very less, pls lemme know how good my chances are to get into Masters course after successful completion of this certification course.

Please guys, Help me to decide as I have applied for 3 colleges in Ontario named Fanshawe,Centennial,Cenneca

Thanks but what do u mean by 'do apply yourself', yes m a bit apprehensive of the misguiding agents but it's easy that way don't u think
