Dear Islamabad..
but they mentioned to him that...

you no longer meet program requirements. To be eligible for the nomination under the Federal Skilled Worker Backlog reduction Pilot (FSW Pilot) initiative by Opportunities Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OOPNP), you must satisfy the program that you

 Have a minimum of 3-year degree from a post-secondary institution.

Provide the proof that you have a minimum of 3-year degree from a post-secondary institution...

he is saying that he will send all copies of email, letters sent from CIC, OTTAWA, ONTARIO OR ISLAMABAD with their degrees.........

let me know that 2 years of bcom and 2 years of MBA comes under 3-years degree from post-secondary institution ? YES or No

If NO then what should be done now..... ?????????????????????????????

Can his application be considered under the Masters stream ?

Zain92,
This part of email was not in your previous posting - "you no longer meet program requirements."

Yes that makes 4-years of post-secondary degree. That will also be the case with other applicants too like 2-years B.Sc. + 2 Years Masters Degree in CS/IT etc. Even some applicants may have 3-years undergrad degree

At this point what else can be done except for sending what has been asked for + letter outlining the requirements for Ontario FSW Backlog reduction program and pray for positive outcome

should he submit work permit open letter because in this letter it is clearly mentioned that he satifies all the requirements of Pilot Project. BUT this is an open work permit letter, they might ask that why did he not apply for open work permit letter ( just my thinking). ? ? ?

Hi Zain,

I do not want to be politically correct I think your Cousin has a serious problem and he will get a rejection if he did not act smartly.

I have one idea but I need some more information:

1) Does MBA (2 years) is from the same school or academic place as the second place.
2) Is there any time gap in the middle between the two degrees ?
3) if the second degree is an MBA and the first is Bcom which is exactly my case. I presume that he applied as a financial analyst as me.
4) Let him attach all the professional certificate that he can get such as CPA or ACCA or CA that he has (if any) as admission requirement for all these programs are recognizable bachelor degree. Also attach a reference letter from all his previous employer specifying why he is working as a financial analyst with these educational background. it should state statements such that "He is academically qualified to pursue that role"

In case the three above conditions are not met. Like there is a gap in time between the two degrees or they are from different schools. Let him draft an email to CIC specifying explaining his case and saying that he is currently in the process of evaluating his own certificates with a certified Canadian Educational Counsel and he needs more time to be able to submit proof for this requirements. Immediately, he needs to gather as much as possible from the above. POINT (1) is extremely crucial then he will send it Canadian Service provider to obtain an equivalent degree statement in Canada. I will search for a recognizable one and Post it here as I believe we all should do this step as it helps us to relocate to Canada in all cases.

If it is the same school and there is no time gap in the middle, especially if he did not work in any profession in the middle. All he needs is to go to the school and ask for the following:

1- One certificate combining the course studied in the two degrees to count for all his credit hours (if you are familiar of the concept).
2- A letter from the ministry of education or any education counseling firm in Pakistan explaining the educational system of the country and the advantages it gives by separating the program in two phases. I presume that he needs to accomplish a certain academic records before he can proceed to the second level of the program. It is a Paid service.
3- Any national ranking for the university or for the program will be helpful.
4- A reference letter from any PHD in this institute will be much helpful.

In short consider yourself

Dear All,

I did not receive the 10 Questions email or a Phone call. am I the only one ?!! DID you ALL received it ?

I am afraid I missed the email somewhere in my busy inbox. From which account they send this email. Is it from the local Visa Office or from Opportunities Ontario or CIC ?!!! what is the exact sender email.

After Zain's post, I am really worried now.

Technically and due to the long time, the following documents expired and they can invent more ways to delay by asking you to update them.

1- IELTS has 2 years validity.
2- Police Certificates is valid from 3 months to 1 year which is also expired.
3- Nomination certificate is valid for 2 years since Sep 2014. also expired.
4- All added 3 additional years of experience. Some changed jobs or even currently unemployed or promoted with different titles. Update for reference letters will be another pain if asked to do.

The automatic process in CIC is currently a tough one and getting tougher with the new system in 2015. If you can not have a job before you enter Canada, you do not stand a chance. This is the new immigration philosophy. Faster system and more difficult to pursue unless you are an academic in a rare specialty or a specialist doctor/healthcare. they need to reduce the unemployment rates in Canada and reduce what social benefits they pay. They can not so they complain about immigration that takes all the jobs.

Either we both missed the email or we should expect it coming soon.
Can anyone advise if we can call Ontario opportunities and ask them directly ? I do not want to do so. If they do not have any questions, it should be good news ...

I think that is not good idea to call them unless PNP requires the additional info. I did not receive any call from PNP a year and half ago that some applicant received with the same questions.
You always have a option to contact Your VO asking the status of your case. They will tell you if something is pending on your end.

Asslam o alikum,

Its not only you two, I have also not received any mail or call, and for last couple of days and I was seriously thinking to send a reminder to cic for my case, but after reading today's discussion on forum, I have stopped my self sending any mail.

I do not stand chance I believe and loosing hope since I have completed only B.com (2 years) and have no other degree.

Starting my journey from 2006 and waiting for the final step after medical and landing fee submission, I thought I am all done, but may be it is not my destiny to reach Canada.

Though they have not sent me any mail but after today's on going discussion I think I will receive one same mail very soon.

Have a good time and best of luck friends.

Regards.
Ahmed.

Hi ahmed321,

I do not want you to lose hope, you have already been nominated this means something.

All you need to do is to dig down all training courses you have that makes you claim credit hours. If you are a Bcom and working as a financial analyst, Think of any in-house training or other certificates you have that can support your application. If you enrolled in another degree since 2012 when they called us to apply for FSW you would have finalized by now. There are plenty on-line MBA and part time degrees to add to your application. You have the advantage of time before they call you. THINK OF SOMETHING. THINK SMART. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GO TO CANADA, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. I wish you understand what I mean. Not everything can be written in public. it can never more difficult than managing Taxes.

Good Luck
