Hi all,
I have done the medical test for the work permit in Feb and did not hear from the visa office sice then,can anybody tell me for how long is the medical test valid .. is it 6 months or 1 year

two of my cousins have received RETURN PAYMENT FORM........ one is from 2007 and one is from 2006


1)should they apply again?


2) those who sent establishment plan ,,have they received any reply from LONDON?

Dear All

Upon sending evidences of my payment processing fees (Copy of Bank DD+ CIO acknowledgment), to London Visa Office by an email, they replied the same as they had already sent that My application processing fees is unpaid and no processing can be done until i have paid the fees.

Please advise what should i do now, really in tense situation, they should even suggest or advise to resolve this issue, CIO haven't accounted for my bank dd yet whereas they had sent me AOR in Feb 2013 and acknowledgment of receipt of my payment.

Please advise, should i send another Bank DD to London visa office for the same amount, while my previous DD will expired on 26 of this month of June.

Hadeel you need not worry, one of my friend in 2011 got visa after 6 months of medical, you should rather inquire whether they have got your medical result?

thanks a lot hope all will be ok , about your case ,it is really so confusing ,my suggestion is if you have a friend to check with the visa office in London in person , try to take this step initially ,wish all will be ok , meanwhile you already sent an email to CIO ,I am sure they will take serious action it is just a matter of time ,Canada immigration is patience test and we need to have lots of patience

I have applied for OPW from new york its already more than a month now and still no update, I send them an email too but no response.
any idea how much time it will take

I got my work permit in 50 days, and they respond to emails within a week or so. Hope this answer your question.

Hadeel please advise, should i send another bank dd after inquiring from London visa office? It seems that they will not accept their mistake of misplacing my bank dd and they will keep me in loop of confusion until i paid fees a second time.

My previous fee bank dd will be expired in 26 of this month. so in this way i can withdraw my previous amount after expiry. will it be a good solution?

As per that correspondence, they were supposed to forward my application to respective visa office. As per online status, it shows as Application Received on March 12, 2013 and i have not heard anything thenafter.

Can anyone from you help as to what exactly would be the timeline for 2nd AOR? It has been more than 2 months since they received my application. Shall i still wait for my 2nd AOR or i need to enquire about my status. If yes, can anyone provide me official e-mail where I can make enquiry.

I am in the same boat also, got 1st AOR at 2 JAN 2013 and till now my status is 'Application Received', I am also willing to check with the visa office to see what is going on , hope we will come to a result soon ,actually you need to check the contacts of your visa office , check the website of the Canadian embassy in India to know their email

Yes Salooni , I think you have no other choice as the expiry is soon ,

but I am a little concerned about withdrawing the old DD , is it possible to issue a new one , and you may withdraw the old one 2 or 3 days before the expiry ,within the few days in between you may get an answer from CIO

If they are delaying stuff in WP not sure why they hold passport for so long, same thing applies in PR application too they request for passport and hold that for 3-4 months.

Thank you so much Hadeel for your response. Delay seems to be because of this ongoing strike I guess! We are left with no option but to wait and watch now!
