Hi PrinceofIndia,

I had also applied in 2005 & nominated under same category as of yours. Then I have applied for PR based on PNP certificate in January-13.

After getting UCI & Application number (from Nova Scotia), I couldn't see status for some days (less than a week) but after that I was able to see the status. My visa office is New Delhi.

You should inform your problem through mail to CIC.

I can see that you have applied a WP on February , did you get any feed back from New Delhi Visa office , what is the expected processing time there , when do you expect your WP to be approved ?

I can see the following on CIC website: "Note that you will not be able to view the status of your application through Client Application Status (CAS) until the visa office or case processing centre to which you sent your application begins processing it. Please do not contact the Call Centre—or, if you applied from outside Canada, the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate overseas—regarding any application unless the standard application processing time has passed. "

Processing time for Abu Dhabi is 27 months so i am wondering should i check with CIC or just wait since i have got my first AOR from CIC on Dec 31, 2012 only.

Hi,
I got Medical request yesterday (Exact after 4 months).
The standard processing time is only 2 months. But the trend observed is by that time people get MR only.
In 3rd or 4th month visa is received.

My case is delayed one. I don't know the reason.

You mean Visa is issued after 3 or 4 months from the medical ?

As you have received the first AOR; I think, there is no matter to worry much.

No. total duration 3-4 months including Medical.

Actually I have an open work permit approval and visa for two years from Canada under MPNP. Is there any time limit that I should make first entry within specific period. Because I got visa in January and still didn't visited Canada.

I belong to India and I am new to this forum and need advise from pros.

I had applied for PR under FSW pilot to Sydney, Nova Scotia and I got my first AOR in April stating my application has been accepted along with acknowledgement of receipt of the fees.

As per that correspondence, they were supposed to forward my application to respective visa office. As per online status, it shows as Application Received on March 12, 2013 and i have not heard anything thenafter.

Can anyone from you help as to what exactly would be the timeline for 2nd AOR? It has been more than 2 months since they received my application. Shall i still wait for my 2nd AOR or i need to enquire about my status. If yes, can anyone provide me official e-mail where I can make enquiry.

Hi all,
I have done the medical test for the work permit in Feb and did not hear from the visa office sice then,can anybody tell me for how long the medical is valud is it 6 months or 1 year

Usually it took 2 months to process the documents from the day Sydney received your apply. You should received 1st AOR by mid May through email. And 2nd AOR by mid June. If no 1st AOR receivd so far, it is possible your application was rejected. Sydney won't send email to notice you
The returned mail is through general package and extremly slow for China (took 3 months to deliver). You better send out email to "CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca" to query status. And again, it will take at least 2 weeks before you have reply. , Not to mention Canada VO is currently on strike :'(
