My CC was charged by CIC on last Monday, 21 Jan and today I received the AOR ... that was quick. Wasn't expecting AoR so soon. Another milestone achieved

I just received an email from my local VO (Sydney, Australia) that my application for work permit has been approved! Thank God!

Earlier I was so nervous and worried about the status of my application and sent an email to my local VO. I was so surprised with the reply and saw the Work Permit attached to it.

We just have to be more patient things will fall into its right place in HIS time.

Congrats.... Sydney takes 2 months for WP as per the website. Can you please advice when did you file your WP application. Also from what i have read WP is something that CIC official issue at the port of Boarding. Did they really issue the WP to you or its the TRV stamp ?

WP is issued at borders for people from countries that do not required a visa to canada , visa to canada is not an obligation for all countries, some nationalities do not required a via to enter canada

Hi

I could not send my wife PCC from FBI with my original application. I later called CIC and they said my file is in Abu Dhabi so send it to abu dhabi embassy.

Alright this may be a rhetoric question but it still keeps bothering me.

Has anyone received any communication from CIC Sydney about their file-transfer? I have some crucial PCCs to send and I want to be doubly sure that I am sending it to the right place. Its been blood, sweat, tears to get these PCCs!
