Hey guys,

I will recently be graduating as an MSc from an Ontarian University, I got 6.5 in the overall score for IELTS general training, but they say we must get at least 7. I wonder if my application may be refused when applying for the provincial nominee program with 6.5 in IELTS.

Please clarify this,

Thanks,

Alright this may be a rhetoric question but it still keeps bothering me.

Has anyone received any communication from CIC Sydney about their file-transfer? I have some crucial PCCs to send and I want to be doubly sure that I am sending it to the right place. Its been blood, sweat, tears to get these PCCs!

hi

I think u should wait ...and they will demand PCC from u...
So Do'nt worry....they are not going to return application if u did not submit original PCC...
And i Hope u had explained that in your application before sending it to CIC sydney...that why u are not sending PCC along with application.
thanks

Hi Ballutaran,

I have the same case as you mention above, I did not sent my PCC since I am working here in Saudi and here its is not possible to get the PCC without file number. So is it correct"that they will not reject the applications without PCC" or you are assuming this.
Although I sent an explanation letter along with my application stating why I have not attached the PCC and I will do it once I get a formal request from CIC.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Regards.

hi ahmed321

You can ask to any BC Nominated person. Particularly in there document which they recieve along with BC Province nomiated certificate.
It is clearly written that u should send our application without PCC, If getting PCC is delaying ur case.
So u may not worry about it...

Any body Nominated from BC Please Coment about it. Coz i had read it from my friend documents.

To be honest I dont remember but I think I did not attach any letter explaining why my PCCs arent there. I have to send across PCCs from 3 different countries and I have already sent out one to CPP-Ottawa office before CIC could request it. I sent it because PCCs only have a 3 month validity.

Now I have secured 2 more PCCs and wanted to make sure how to identify my visa office before I could do that.

About the validity of the PCCs, is it required by CIC that police clearance should be 3 months from the date of issue when you submit it or the PCCs validity period?

I currently have one from my home country but the validity date is one year from the date of issue (05 Dec 2013). I also have a traffic report from Australia, Victoria and AFP Clearance but both have no stated validity dates.

With this information, should I just send the PCCs to my local VO without waiting for any email from them asking for it?

I still need one from Singapore but I can't get one unless there's a letter from the CIC requesting for it.

Its 3 months from the date of issue of PCC. I got mine in November so had no choice but to send it now. I am also procuring one from Singapore coincidentally, you need not wait for a request from CIC per se, you can show them the checklist. Refer the Singapore COC thread on Canada visa.

One of my PCC is in October does it mean I have to get another one? Sorry to be dumb, I guess my brain just wanted to admit the obvious answer.

I'll probably just send whatever I have now to my local VO and see what happens (from the looks of it, PCC is already expired so it doesn't matter if it gets rejected or not).

It's great to hear that I don't need the request from CIC. Just to clarify, I'm not a Singaporean citizen.

Thank you very much for your help!
