Got this response from Opportunities Ontario:

Thank you for your inquiry about the Opportunities Ontario: Federal
Skilled Worker Pilot Program.

If Opportunities Ontario has received your FSW application package and
any other supporting documents, we will contact you by the end of July
to let you know that we have your application. Should Opportunities
Ontario require any additional information and/or documents, we will be
in contact. Opportunities Ontario will also notify you of the outcome
of your application by the end of November 2012. Please do not contact
us on the status of your application.l

Should you have any further inquiries, please contact Opportunities
Ontario directly at -

I too got the same email today. They had received my application on April 30th.

I haven't get any confirmation, Is this mean my application is not selected?
Is every one got the confiramtion from Ontarion FSW?

Hi,
When did you submitted your application? What is the time difference in submitting the application and getting the response back? I submitted my application on 1st of May-2012 and my IELTS results in June around 12th of June, so far I have not received anything from them.

My application reached them on 4th May and i submitted my IELTS last week.

I want to apply under FSW pilot program but i am not sure about the procedure and when i ask the consultant he told me the fees will be 2 LAC in INR.
My profile:-
10th % 69
12th % 64
b.e.(IT)% 72
Work EXP 4 years as Tester in Telecom billing and payments field

Can anyone tell me the below:-

a) How to apply for the pilot process.
b) Can i file my case now and submitt the IELTS score in nect couple of months or is it necessary to provide the score at that moment itself.
c) What is the duration to get a PR through this process.

Early response will be much appreciated

I don't know about other provinces, but the deadline for Ontario PNP is the end of May. I guess you don't have enough time to apply for this, but you can just wait for another chance as they said they would have this again in the future.

@sushilsrk : Yes u have ran out of time if not applied before May 31.

Regarding the fees for 2 lac.. IF you are approved then u might have to pay around 2000 CAD for Work permit.

Received the email today indicating the file number. The wait till Nov 2012 is a drag now.

I have a question. They have mentioned 600 nominations will be given out. Now say if one applicant has a family of 4 (wife & children) then will it mean 4 nominations of our 600 quota or 1 nomination of the 600 quota.

FYI: Seems like this might go down too as CIC is going to eliminate the existing files by Sept and in NOV if you are selected then they will say you do not have any active files so we cant process ahead.
