Kindly order GCMS notes and gain visibility into your PR case. Avoid approaching via different means this will not expedite your case, rather Jeopardize it. You know what i mean right !

GCMS notes is important to have before you to know what steps have you passed and which are the pending ones.

Getting GCMS notes
I used www.visafile.info for 25 CAD and received notes within 33 days

visafile.info only accepts PayPal which does not work for Pakistan and they don't offer CC option, how did you paid for the fees?

Send them email (info @ visafile.info) telling them that paypal is not available in Pakistan, they will issue an electronic invoice to pay by credit card.
Please remove spaces from above email address

My status is "Application Received" since 20th June 2014. It was "In Process" before this date but then they changed it without telling the reason that I asked so many times. My GCMS showing status "On Hold Pending in Cda"...here are the timelines:

Application Received by CIC: 11 Mar 2013
Started Processing Application: 11 Nov 2013
Medical Requested and one: 27 Nov 2013

Status changed back to "Application Received" on 20 June 2014
QA email received and answerd on 29 Sep 2014

I am in Canada on OWP....how much more I wait...

As most of our medical are going to expire in june and july who did not receive anything from CIC , can i conclude that we will be contacted for re-medical and we will be getting final PR by coming December ? ? any feed back from you people .....

I am really confused whether to contact the MP on my PR application or not. I have already drafted the letter and have got all the contact details but should I send it?

I received an email from visa office in July 2014 about extra document but then was taken back by visa office saying that it was sent in error.

Status changed back to "Application Received" in June 2014
QA email received and answerd in Sep 2014

I applied for BOWP last week as I am in Canada on OWP which will expire in July.

So guys, your suggestions...should I contact the local MP?

Why do you think that comtacting an MP will have negative impact on your application ..actually I did that 5 times ..all he did is contacting Ottawa central data base and they told him about the current status ..he does not have the right to do anything else

Thanks Islamabad786 for your help I have applied for GCMS notes yesterday and today got the confirmation email from them....

By the grace of god, I got back passports with visas today. That mark the end of very long processing and waiting period (more than 8 years). The visa expiry date is middle of July 2015 (5 days after medical).

Congrats Islamabad786, wish you a happy life in Canada. One suggestion, those who have completed their milestone or even landed in Canada should keep following on this thread and provide their valuable input until everyone in pilot stream gets successful.
