Does anyone can help me with information:

Less than 2 years ago I got open work permit, however I was not able to come to Canada by personal reasons. So the work permit is going to expiry in 1 month.
I sent an email to my local visa office with a question about extension of the work permit and they said that I have to apply for a new one.
So, I am thinking to apply for a new one, however I am not sure about province support letter. The letter is 2 years old.
Do you think I can apply with the letter or not? Or should I get a new one.

This OWP vis PNP is not extendable; however if you are in Canada and your PR application is in process you can apply bridge visa which is again work permit but through different program. I asked ONPNP for support letter they said AOR is enough to get work permit + attach PNP certificate.

This is the problem, I am not in Canada, I was not able to come to Canada before.
And today, I am wondering if it is worst to come with OWP that expire on March.

This is so frastrating ..I am wondering if my OWP expires..is it easy to get the bridge Visa ..I am afraid it will take more than 4 to 5 months? Should i stop working then ?should I resign ?how am I going to afford my 4 members family ..this is really tourchering in a different way

Same for me,I have applied through Abu Dhabi Visa office and since last QA email in July 2014 I did not receive any email/call about 10 questions.

My medicals expired last September, They sent me PPR in July 2014, after that they sent my passports back without stamping because of this QA program .

I hope they will process our applications soon.

It is a relief to find a similar case like mine, my Medical has already expired and they did not even ask me to renew it. What about yours ?
It looks like that they release QA applications bit by bit. Some applications are already out and some are still in QA. So strange procedures.

You do not have anything pending regarding the education certificates .. I think if they asked for your passport earlier, it means you got clearance from medical and security check which is great. QA did not come back to you regarding any Education issues even better.

Did your status changed to DM or it is still "In process " ?
I think they will ask you to redo medical (not all staff like before) then they will ask for your passport again.

My application status is still "In Process".

regarding my education I have 4-Years Bachelor degree in Computer Science, I think because of this they did not contact me regarding my education.

If you applied within Canada, the average processing time is about 41 days and currently they are processing the application submitted on January 2, 2015.

I did not apply yet ..and yes I have been in Canada since November 2013 ..my OWP will expire on November 2015 ..but I am burdened since now..so you are saying that our work permit is extendable??
