Thank you for the reply Rafzy..,

Will there be any variation in processing time for PN applications and otherwise

I recreated profile yesterday (with an updated IELTS result and an overall score of 448) and today i have got the Notification of interest !! Yay!!! :P

congrats LanaS!!

I was just going through the application form and I can see for Work Experience it states all work for the past 10 years or since you were 18. I only have reference letters for the two full time jobs I had entered in my express entry profile. My other jobs were while I was in university so they were just part time jobs.

Do I have to go back and contact these employers ? or are the reference letters from the two jobs i'm using to apply for OINP ok?

I have also seen people mention that apply using the CEC stream is faster if you are waiting on an AOR as compared to FSW - is there any truth to this, as i would be applying under FSW.

Some help required Guys,

I Received PT of Interest from Ontario on 17th December.

I have more than 13,000 CAD in my account but the account is not 6 months old. It is only 2 Months old. Is it good idea to send Application for nomination. Will they accept the application or send me back application as Incomplete and also refund my money or just keep my 1500 CAD fees money and reject my application??

Yes, I called OINP and they told me since the account has the required funds and you provided a 6 months bank statements, it is okay if the required funds are less than 6 months old.

Hello, I am new to this forum and its my first post towards canadian immigration.

I have few questions if someone can help ....I calculated my CRS along with spouse IELTS on cic website and found , my current score is 373 with my current IELTS score which is
R 7.0 , L 7.5, S 7.0 , W 6.0 BUT if I reappear and score R 7.0, L 8.0 , S 7.0 , W 7.0 then I will be able to get 434 score.

I am interested in Ontario immigration based on more then 400 scores. Currently I am passing FSW with 70 points with spouse.

My Questions:

If I get 434 will I surely get ontario nomination , my current occupation is Marketing Specialist

What is 2nd post secondary diploma/certificate as per indian qualifications. I did bachelors in computer applications, post graduate diploma in computer applications and then MBA . which will be considered as diploma/certificate of 2nd post secondary

My MBA is 15 months course which I completed from UK, its not 2 years programme, so here will be any problem if we compare it to canadian masters , bacuase usually master in canada is 2 years. I mean will I be able to get 23 points against masters

My score was 431 and got PT letter of interest twice

I am ontario nominated and I didnt provide any proof of ties. Just mentioned that i have friends in Ontario.
As long as they do not find any kind of relationship with other provinces, they will not have a problem.

Have you just mentioned that you have some friends in Ontario or did you need to provide any details about you friends?

happy new year peeps!

I got my notification of interest 2days ago. I am a doctor currently practicing in Nigeria which is a regulated profession. Please, I need a clarification. Do I need to have a practicing license from Ontario medical regulatory body before I can apply or that is a requirement for those already working as a doctor in Ontario?
I am really confused because I have limited time to submit my documents. Somebody please help!!!

Can anyone help with the below ? i am sending in my application next week

need clarity with demand draft (is form 15CA/CB mandatory?)

Its been 30 days , I received nomination (PT)
Application and all documents are ready besides Demand Draft. I went to bank yesterday and surprised to hear that they need Form 15CA and Form 15CB. I thought it will easy to get DD like we usually do but this one looks cumbersome.

Anyone else have received such request ? Does your bank also asked for it ?
Do you suggest any bank who does not ask a Form 15CA/Form 15CB from a Chartered Accountant :(

In my opinion, you need to include only the employment reference letters of the work experience for which you are claiming points in your EE profile.
As such even I have worked for a few part time jobs during my univ studies, and I do not have any reference letters for these and hence will not bother to include them in my application package.

Got PT nomination from OINP couple of days back . I have an issue with my NOC . i shifted from a professional job to a trade job from last three months (I have overall 6 years of experience in the professional job) . Both are in in Skill level B. Will the shift from professional to trade job impact my PT for OINP ?
Thanks

Check with ICICI Bank; I got it from them and so have several others on this forum. Problem with ICICI is that only a few branches know how to process this although the customer care folks would have you believe every branch of theirs does it.

All the best!

I have a general question about bridged work permit.

Can you apply for a bridged work permit if you have received AOR from OINP? If not how about if you receive a nomination from OINP?
