Applications submitted after June 1 are being considered.

i got PT nomination.

But what does this line stands for:

Once you accept a nomination, your profile will no longer be visible to other provinces and territories, so you will not be considered for nomination by other provinces . You will also not be considered for federal economic programs in Express Entry.

So for example if I accept and apply for this OOPNP nomination , I will not be considered in regular EE draws by CIC until my PNP is approved ? :o

I though even if we apply for PNP we are still considered in draws by CIC.

Any expert advise?

Thanks.

NO that is after u get nomination... ryt now u dnt have a nomination thts just an interest..within 90 days u shall get a revert from Ontario Govt if u have been selected to get nomination or not...one u get nomination and u accept it then u will not be considered for these EE FSW draws. Right now its not an issue

You can apply for it if,

1. You have a CRS score of more than 400

2. You have at least a Bachelor's degree from Canada or ECA for a Bachelor's degree from any other country

3. Your EE profile was created after 1st June

All the best!

Thanks a lot for this information.

On ontario immigration website (in the common questions section) for,

What documents are required to prove my residency in Ontario?

it says, "To prove your intention to settle in Ontario, you will need to demonstrate one year of physical residence in Ontario, in the past two years, and your presence in the province at the time of your application. You should provide credit card statements, leasing documents or bills and accounts with your name and Ontario address. See Page 12, Demonstrating Residence in Ontario."

Do I have to prove my residency in Ontario for applying in on express entry??

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks

Still waiting for PNP to reply. I will update this forum, once I get any update.

Has anyone who is residing outside of Canada meeting other requirements been sent the PT notification of Interest from Ontario ?

I am outside of Canada with no ties to Ontario and has not worked in Canada before, however I meet other requirements including 400+ score.

OOPNP is still confusing ....

Please share!

Thanks.

I'm a bit confused...

So I just withdrew and re-created EE (since my previous profile was created in Feb) and my profile is now showing "Provincial Nominee Program Not Met". Does that mean I don't meet PNP criteria (My score is 407, qualified for both CEC and FSW) or it will only be updated when they send out an invitation letter?

It's the same for all of us. PT invitation letter will not update the status of "Provincial Nominee Program" to "MET". It will only change once you submit the application and if approved OOPNP sends you a nomination and after you accept it will change the status. I am guessing that's how the code is built in, as soon as the condition says "MET" it will add the 600 CRS score to the existing score.

SO now PT receivers have to choose whether to accet it and apply for the OOPNP, OR, continue to wait in the EE pool and pray for the draws...

We can't expect Ontario OVs and Federal OVs to work for you at the same time.

I have a quetion.. Once we submit our documnets for pnp processing, we will still be considered for express entry draws or not? Or it is that after we get pnp of ontario we will be unable to accept any other provinces pnp? If any one can answer it plz

That's a grey area for which there is no hard core evidence to support your question. At this point it's all speculations and assumptions, a bit confusing at the moment. We can only try to interpret the information to the best of our knowledge and go with our own judgement. I would personally sugesst, you start gathering the documentation and keep referring to the forum, you have 45 days to submit the application. ;D

I THINK it makes very clear that OVs from the province and federal gov will not work on duplicate applications. I agree with Dilbert that thos with high scores and a PT can hold their right to apply till the last moment, while they can still wait for the 10th and 11th draw.
