Hi All,

I received OINP invitation on 3rd Sept and I have couriered all the required documents on 19th Sept and the courier company status shows DELIEVERED.

Is there a way to check the status of my OINP application? Is there any portal for it?

Thanks

Ok! My score is 408 and NOC is 2173.. I am wondering if I can do anything to be able to receive a PT notification. When did you submit your profile in EE pool?

Very informative thread....

Received PT notification under Human Capital Priorities Stream yesterday. I went thro' the application procedure and here are my doubts.

1. I am not intending to make any application to PEO (Professional Engineers Ontario) at the moment. I understand it is a pre-requisite to practice in this particular occupation. But when I read the application form, I do not have the desired document (Canadian Birth Certificate / Canadian Citizenship Card/ Permanent Resident Card / Form IMM 1000 of Record of Landing - Landing Immigration Status) to prove my proof of Identity. Furthermore, I can begin my application for license upon obtaining provincial nomination / invitation / Landing into Canada.

2. For Work Experience, I can certainly submit my recent resume indicating all relevant work experience. But I regret to obtain employer reference letters in company letter heads. However I can provide the job roles and description printed in a plain sheet, signed by my manager with his business card attached (for correspondence) and notarized to prove authenticity. The actual reason for the unavailability of the same in Company letter head is that my employer doesn't provide such letter to the employee while serving for the organisation and also it affects my professional growth within the organisation.

Please comment if this is acceptable and I can proceed with my application to Ontario under Human Capital Priorities Stream.

Can anyone help ??

Created in June 4.....410..NOC 1243..!! No pt yet..!! wat to do??
This is strange! Someone with a lower score have already got the PT, so I think NOC matters, they are selecting based on the job opening in diff domains.

Hi guys,

After receiving PT from Ontario and sending them the complete file, in case they have questions they will call/send email before of after the AOR? How much time is it between receiving the AOR and getting the 600 points?

Thank you for feedback.
Once they start processing your application, the officially stated time for them to finish processing it is 90 days- that said, a lot of people are reporting that their files have been in processing status for more than 90 days, so I would prepare for anywhere from 3-4 months of downtime.

Yeah, you'd need to have to wait a while, I am afraid. For context, my application was Fed Ex'd on July 18, received on July 20. I only got the acknowledgement of receipt for the application (as in, just OINP telling me that they have received my application, and will now start processing it) today. The waiting period was over 60 days, and now the waiting period till I hear back from OINP is another 90 days at the very least.
So yes, it will take a while. Regardless, if you are at all worried, what I recommend is for you to keep abreast of current OINP trends using heeru_mann's excellent spreadsheet. As you will see, right now, OINP has only moved around to checking files that they received on July 20, at the latest.
So yeah, I'd say just hold on tight! They'll get around to sending you your AoR for sure :)
