Are the NoIs issued mainly to people in IT?

Hello Everyone,

My point in EE profile is 437, I got an Ontario Express of Interest letter today. I have the following question and I really appreciate it if someone could respond to my comments:

1) How much time I have to accept this Interest Letter? What is the deadline?

2) If I don't want to be considered for PNP, do I HAVE TO decline this letter, or after some time when I don't accept it they will figure it out that I am not interested?

2) Now that they sent me this letter of interest, does it mean that they already evaluated my profile and they think I am qualified for the Ontario Human Capital program, or I should check with them to see if I am qualified?

3) What if I don't want to apply for PNP now, because I like to see what happens in the next EE draw on March 8 (I think). Should I just do nothing and wait? Or I should re-create my EE profile?

4) Now that I received this letter of interest, am I still in the EE pool and my profile will be considered for the next draw?

Thanks :D
to accept

Dont do anything now. Wait for the next draw . We both will get picked , i stand at 438.

Received OINP NOI 2 hour back . Not sure if there was a link/click to accept/decline. They just said contact ontario.

I am not sure but i guess NO. They only want CRS 400 or above.

There may be 5000+ people in the pool with a score of 400 or above. I dont think Ontario will send a notiication to everyone. I am not yet in the pool but hoping to enter soon and may be get lucky with OINP. I am surely be above 400 and will be eligible. Just that I am not in it yet.

Do you remember how much time they took to send invite after creating new profile? I mean, was it immediate or had it taken 24 hours?
I think usually between 24-48 hrs

I think it will spread out a bit over the course of the year, to improve processing times, and not overwhelm themselves. I'm having some questions about the federal ITA however. I'm wondering if they will give out most of their invites in the first part of the year, in order to get more people started and completed through by the end of the year. Only time will tell.

Hello friends,

I am new to canadavisa forums. I created my EE profile (NOC 4011 - University Professor and Lecturers) in mid January, 2017. My CRS is 433. Waiting for one of the two things now: PT NOI from Ontario or ITA on or before Mar 22 draw. I wish you all the best in your pursuit of getting the Canadian PR! :)

You have reasonable chances of ITA on 22nd March. However, try to get OINP invite. If you think you are eligible & created profile before 18th Feb, then recreate profile. It seems NOI is sent to only those with new profile.

Hello Guys,

Since you all have been so helpful last time I was here I would ask you a simple question.
My EE profile expires on 29th March. My CRS is 438. The profile is a bit old now. Do you think I still have a chance to be picked up for ITA or should I create a new one?

Thank you all for your suggestions.

I think you have a great chance in the next draw... I would login and update info, and make sure job bank is good to go.

I don't expect the next draw to be before March 8th.

In that case why not withdraw the profile and create a new one. You might get OINP NOI and still get ITA with the next draw.

That way you have choices. In my opinion, you have nothing to loose.

Even if you get the OINP NOI you can delay submission and see if you get ITA.

Folks,

I am totally confused. I am at 434 with NOC 0111 and profile created on May 9, 2016. I have not received OINP NOI so far. I have checked on CIC account multiple times. Do I need to recreate the profile to get the invite?

Thank you Guys for your replies. I have created a new EE profile. Just to be sure. But let me get this straight - I have now a real chance to get ITA for residency?? I was aiming on Ontario PNP to raise my points, but if they lowered the bar under 450 CRS I might have a chance.
In that case, if I get ITA for residency I don't need Ontario PNP - I assume? Or would I have better chances to get residency after I get Ontario PNP?

Sorry for the confusion, you guys shocked me :)

If you get the ITA in normal draw you don't need the Ontario PNP. But if with 438 you still don;t get ITA, you can apply to Ontario PNP after getting a NOI and with their nomination you will get extra 600 points taking your score to 1038. Then you will get ITA

guys , when re-creating new express entry profile , do we need to mentione previous epxress entry profile number ?
