Greetings,

I plan to land in Toronto in July and apply for a driver’s licence.
I will obtain my driver’s licence in my home country (non exchange) in June (just before leaving).
Is having a month old licence going to be of any help in getting a full Ontario driver’s licence?

Not really... You'll need to check the exact rules but you won't even be able to self-declare a year's driving experience.

You’d need to show a drivers abstract of at least 2 years to get any kind of credit.
