Can i know when did you sent your medical?

I'm done my medical on Aug 30,2010 and at that time doctor told me they are going to send it after two weeks from medical exam if everythig is ok, otherwise she was gonna call me to do other tests but I didnt get any phone call from her and I phoned doctor after 20 days and they told me they already sent it.

Thanks and have a good day.

Today I got an email about my file transfer to NY.

Glad to see some April applicants and/or those with medicals done in August are getting file transfers. I belong to this group too but have nothing to share so far.

Any updates from people who sent applications in late June or July? We just moved to India and changed the address with CIC as well as AINP. I am hoping that should not affect our time-line significantly.

Hi,

Today I got a mail saying below. I haven't paid any RPRF so for.

Is this is same mail evey body got those files got transfered to NY. I thought all the files from EAST COAST will be processed from Buffalo it self.

Are they going to ask additional documents after transfer? or I don't need to worry about them. I submitted all the documents required by them at the time of submission. Any idea.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Your application will be transferred to New Delhi. When did you apply to CIC?

If you have sent your application to CIC Buffalo, you're application will not be transferred to New Delhi. However, the processing will continue. The only issue being you will have to get your passport across to the US, when you get your passport request.

from what I have read files don't get transferred just because you moved to another country.
you have to prepare for the time when your passport will be requested and how you will get it in or out of India. I have read of a number of people in this forum who have this dilemma.

your timelines should not be affected from CIC end. the factors that can could cause a slight delay in timelines are.
- postal delays of few days when AOR is sent.
- arrangements you make for sending the passport when CIC sends the passport request.
