I received the same exact letter as Grey Goose back on Nov 3rd. Medical section was crossed out and "we have received your results" written on it. I had also send in RPRF fee back in July right after medicals for $490 and they stapled a receipt for this on the letter showing I had paid the fee. I had no additional documents needed checked off too.

procan;

How much did you pay for RPRF and what was the date on your money order?

Thanks.

I think I paid USD 460 at the time of filing CIC appln - in March 2010.

As I mentioned earlier, in my letter (dated Nov 2 2010) "No addl doc req at this time" is only checked.

I have already paid RPRF and already med received.

I am going to email them enquire about that.

Hey Greygoose,

Just put a cover letter together and include a copy of the RPRF fee you have already paid. If I were you, I would include the difference and not worry much. Also include your birth certificates etc etc. It's always good to be a little extra careful. It might cost you a few dollars and some time...but will take away a lot of your worries, if you really intend to leave the US and settle in Canada.

I apologize, It was USD 455 for me and my spouse not USD 460. I paid it in March.
Later when I added my son, I paid USD 150 that was in Aug 2010.
Also, CIC have sent the receipt of RPRF along with AOR & Med request.

Hello Procan,
I too received the receipt for the $455 paid as RPRFwith my AOR.

Hi all, I received my AOR/Med request yesterday (11/13/2010).
Application reached CIC: 6/17/2010
M.O cashed: 8/12/2010

Qn: Is anyone familiar with the CIC doctors in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill areas in NC?

Did your online status was update before 11/13/2010 or after.
Also this question is to seniors as well. Did the status gets updated first or we receive the AOR/Medical.

Officially, you don't get the file number until you receive AOR (and you need that to check eCAS). Typically the updates online are after-fact. For example my file got transferred to local office few days ago, and eCAS has not been updated.

Manny is right...
in my case I couldn't access eCAS because I didn't have a file number prior to getting the package in the mail because I'd used a moneygram M.O which I guess only allows you to check cashed/uncashed status....So all I did was sit tight and stew and hope and pray :'(

My money order for RPRF was cashed on November 9 (sent it along with additional required documents).
when should i expect something such as passport request?

Friends,

Is there anyone who got an email/communication from regional Canadian Consulate after your file was transferred from Buffalo office?
Going by previous processing times its anywhere between 3 weeks to 3 months.

My file got transferred on Oct26 to NYC office. Haven't heard anything from them yet.

Good Luck!!

ours got transferred to LA consulate Oct.26, we sent a case specific query to change our address on Nov.5 and got a reply confirming receipt on Nov.8, e-cas updated with new address on Nov.9 but still In process, no word yet on PPR. they did not reply when I followed up.

Rubyalabar and Virgos,

Lets assume this silence from CIC as " the silence before the storm of Passport Requests".
But frankly speaking, this silence is killing me... :'(

When I filed my application with CIC in March 2010, I was hoping to celebrate 2010 THANKS GIVING in Calgary, going by CIC delays I planned to celebrate CHRISTMAS in Calgary, then NEW YEAR and now hoping against hope, its 2011 VALENTINE'S DAY in CALGARY.

If CIC strictly adhere's to its 90 days timeline, the anticipated timeline for our MAPLE LEAF is by JAN 26, 2011.

On a lighter note -- wondering if someone in CIC strongly believes in Mayan Calendar and wants to send passport requests on 21-Dec-2012 :'( :'( :'(

Hope there is some good news for all of us in the weeks ahead. :)

Hi All,

Does anybody who's file has been transfered to L.A has received passport request?? If yes, what is the timeline??

Thanks..
