I am not taking any comments personally. So, please feel free to post your comments. Unlike US immigration, Canadian CIC office can be sued or taken to court. CIC works under a political process. and any unfavorable decision has to be explained to Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration. (Google it) All provincial nominees can be inadmissible on three grounds 1) misrepresentation 2) medical 3) security. Even if you are found inadmissible by CIC, Ministry of Immigration and Citizenship can make a final decision if you can prove that those inadmissible grounds are no more valid. If CIC thinks there are grounds for inadmissible decision, CIC arranges an interview. You go over the facts with an immigration officer. Every unfavorable decision has to be explained in writing. Even the Canadian government agency, CSIS, that does background check for CIC, is supervised for accountability. You can also file complaint against CSIS. So, there is nothing much to be afraid of.

Ladies and Gents,

All of us are free to write what so ever any one feels about his/her individual case. Just a request please donot
act in such a way where mutual interest is on stake. We all certainly understand its long painfull procedure seems
never ending like Jumanji, but be patient and only patient worths in such scenarios.

Remember we all made a big noise when all of a sudden they stoped IT code application, even revoked and conditioned
the already issued Nominees Certeficates with Job surity. What was the out come, NILL.

So we can not fight, argue or express your concerns in a polite way.
No doubt you can conquer the people by request not by command and argue.

Thanks, and we all are in same boat. Bye now.

you are correct. CIC office is not a desi organisation where the decisson will be biased on the whim and fancy of the immigration officer. every case that is assesed is evalulated based on qualifying ground and this cannot be a reason of rejection. keep in mind that CIC decission can be appealed if you are confident your case decision was not fair or biased.

Emailed them about my status and this is what I got!! At least you guys know they have your medicals....

I don't even know if they got it, it might have gotten lost in the mail for all I know...Why can't they let me know if they've got my medicals or not? So frustrating

Information for all applicants for PR on the buffalo website is
You will be sent a letter showing your file number and outlining the next steps in processing within 20 weeks of the date of your application's receipt at this office.

This is my 19th week and no AOR/medical, really really hoping I get it soon, I think we've not seen delays like this (for AORs at least ) in the previous 2 years for AINP PNP applicants :(

Hi All,

Today I got email, saying that my case was transferred to Detroit.
Till now I didn't submitted PCC and FBI reports. Just I got FBI report, I need to submit.

Just curious, due to my work travel, for people who have went through this, after AOR is received, how long do you have to do and submit medicals?

Thx,
-J
