I have a few questions, if somebody can help me that would be very helpful to me and others.

Suppose if we move out of USA before PPR, can we get a VV from canada embassy in New Delhi and then come to canada and get stamping by sending PP from canada to usa and receving the same back. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

There is really no guarantee. I had sent a letter enquiring about the same. The embassy replied back saying the visa is really decided on an individual basis.

This is the response from cic delhi

You are free to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa for Canada. Please attach all the relevant supporting documents to your application. Each case is decided on its own merits.

Nope...usually this status will change after you receive PPR. Then status will be "medical received". The tracking system is behind the real the status. :)

Going to LA tomorrow for TRV

All,

I tried to land this weekend and is denied to land. In short, I entered through Rainbow Bridge. The lady officer inside the building was very rude and did not even return my good morning. I told her that I am here to land as PR immigrant. She asked for our passports, papers and yellow paper which we recieved when we entered our car at the booth.

After taking few minutes she she asked if I am landing for good and have any address ? I said yes, I havean address in Toronto and I will sign the month to month lease. I mentioned that I am in process of finding job in Alberta and looking for a apartment. And I will move as soon as I have a job.

I think that was a mistake. She said she doubts my intent to move to Alberta and I should come back after a week or so. Meanwhile she will directly ask Alberta authorities for rules around this case.

I am really worried now. I have returned to USA and am planning to go back in 2 weeks. I need some help folks. Few people have suggested that I should go with Alberta address and rental agreement next time and if possible have a job offer from Alberta. Not sure if I can do either of it in next 2 weeks. I am talking to few apartment companies and they are saying that I will have to take 6 month lease and pay all rent upfront.

Please let me know if you guys have any suggestion. i am worried that I will lose my PR if I do not act prepared next time.

Please refer the PR rules
