Hi Shvr007,
How do you know that is this the only reason, did you got any official email from them ? that FBI cert should not be more then one yr old . ?

Shvr - Are you going to apply your FBI again, if yes you need to apply to US embassy in Canada right. Will that take same time like 12 weeks over here. Probably, I guess, if you speak to some lawyer, there might be a way. So you are so close.. Fight! All the best and do post us with happenning at your end.

Hi

Today I had my medical done. The DMP said that they would send the results directly to Ottawa. I had a couple of Questions

a) Is there a way to track online whether and when the medical reports were recieved by CIC.
b) What's the average time period these days for CIC to get back with the AOR details after medical is done?

I am asking cause I have a visitor visa for Canada and was planning to visit in late december and was hoping to complete landing formalities then itself, is that possible or with current timelines for processing the chances of that are very unlikely?

The instructions below will help get desired results only if the Certified check/MO is drawn from Bank Of America. There must be a similar process for certified checks/MOs drawn from other banking/Financial institutions.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot lettuce_tomatoes and chigirl. Yes, it will be very help full.

Thanks again.

Sent in medical exam receipt (not results) with application without waiting for medical exam request - I was asked to do that duing CSQ interview. I called the clinic and my results were fine.
AOR letter received on may 27 2010.
file was transferred to detroit office on september 8.
Are they gonna ask me for the results of my medical exam? I never received anything, when I called the clinic, my results were fine.
How long more to wait, I am freaking out.

Are you a skilled worker applicant to Quebec? This forum is for Alberta Provincial nominee applicants only.
In any case, the results of the medical exams are sent directly to Ottawa, which is then sent to CIC. Applicants are not informed of the medical results. Regarding the wait, it's better if you look at a forum for Quebec applicants for the timeline.

No method to track online - only way is to get the tracking number for your courier. Average time difficult to say - anywhere between 2-3 months or longer for passport request after medicals.

Checked with BOA today, my foreign draft got cashed on Sept 27, a few days short of 2mos. ;D

No ppr this week and not even any new medical request. Guess the last time we got a medical request for candidate who submitted their applications to CIC in the month of May. Folks, are the things slowing down in buffalo?

Hi Lettuce

I would agree and not to rain on the parade or anything but it just seems things have slowed down at CIC. Just looking at the estimated timeline for clearing 80% of the cases at CIC which was 11 months from last year and the slowdown that happenned last year occurred right around oct end .

I am mentally prepping myself for the possibility of only getting the PPR request in Jan 2011 ( hoping the June/July folks get it next month or Nov ) . If cases get into Dec am assuming they will give them priority for clearance in Jan 2011.

Looking at posts in this and other forums, it seems like Buffalo is transferring files to Detroit, New York and other consulates to expedite the process. Atleast, that's a good sign; something's moving.

Chigirl

The only case of file transfer to Detroit on this thread is Vsrao ( just from searching the thread ) . The other few cases where of people who were stuck since a long time waiting for meds since Jan 2010 due to various reasons. Could you please post some info on if there is some other missing piece of info on the file transfer. Also if a file transfer happens would the status tracker reflect this and also for people on the west coast of Usa would the cases be transferred to Los Angeles instead of Detroit. LA used to be very fast in taking care of cases a few years ago.

Hey guys,

my check been cashed on Sep 7th. Later this year I am marrying US Permanent Resident ( will be citizen by March). I dont want leave the process since I have spent so much time and now also money. So Should I wait for medicals and let them know or go over medicals and continue to wait till I get PPR to inform them?
