pokha69, vzaveri waiting to hear ahead of many us - hchalz already heard re. PCC. I think if we've not heard back from CIC on wanting more docs are headed to seeing their PPR sooner.

hchalz - did you get the request by email or by USPS Snail mail? Not sure if anyone asked and you replied. Sorry if it was asked earlier.

Absolutely, some of us should get this week..

Today, i checked the status of my application and found an extra line. The line is -

"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

A little search of the posts in this forum revealed that people do receive this message when visa is issued.


Passport and RPRF Request through email - 16 August 2010
Passport sent (with RPRF) - 16 August 2010
Passport Received (with RPRF) by CIC - 18 August 2010
Status update - 7 September 2010
New line in the updated status - "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I observed one more more thing. Now, it says "Decision Made" in overall status. Earlier it was "In Progress".

Based on your post, you mentioned: Passport sent (with RPRF) - 16 August 2010 and Passport Received (with RPRF) by CIC - 18 August 2010.

Did you go inperson to the consulate (Buffalo) for visa stamping?

Once you get the PPR request can you submit the passport inperson instead of mailling?

we received our passport request on friday. only a week after we sent them my wifes fbi certificate(which was the only pending item)

I did get a request for FBI report a week after AOR/Medical request and sent them on June 10,2010.
