Hey that's cool if you got RPRF alongwith med request. Or are you not sure what your lawyer has recd? I don't think anyone else got all of these together until now.

Manny,

When I got my medicals, my lawyer asked me to pay my RPRF if I had already not done so. So, like you say we need to ascertain whether the request from the lawyer or CIC.

Hey guys,
I was wondering if I can still use all my credit cards from US in Canada.
I am talking about online services, like buying flight tickets, or to buy phone cards, or any other non- location specific transaction like that.

Also if I am ok with foreign transaction fee, can I use them, even if my official address is in Alberta?
Or would my bank ask me to close these cards, and not deliver any mail too.

Well all the cards can be used anywhere in the world, so don't worry about that.

But if you tell them you have moved out of US , I assume they would close u r account as u r leaving US jurisdictions and all credit cards laws be invalid.

For those that have friends who have not yet applied under the US Visa holder category.....They STOPPED taking in new applications.

The AINP is currently not accepting applications under the AINP U.S. Visa Holder Category. Applications postmarked after August 23, 2010 will be returned to you. Applications postmarked on or before August 23, 2010 will be accepted for processing and will be processed according to AINP Processing Times.

It does not say if the move is permanent though.

I got the medical request/AOR today. The visa officer has decided to waive the interview. They have asked me to send the RPRF with in 60 days.

Please add me to the spreadsheet, CIC reached Buffalo on 7/31/10.

Thank you.

Yep I got it all. And need to do it within 60days period, mycase manager told me to do medicals asap.

lettuce_tomatoes, How did they inform you about the interview waive? and how did they inform you to send th RPRF?
because most of us recieved medical requests, but didn't get informed about interview waive nor the RPRF yet.

On my part they sent me letter that interview is being waived and to send RPRF along with medicals. Hope this clears up.

Congrats lettuce_tomatoes ! I am now wrapping up my vacation and eager to do medicals.

The visa office send the letter to this today. In the letter it is mentioned that the interview is being waived and i will need to send the RPRF and Medicals to the buffalo consulate with in 60 days.

I believe this is a new trend. I would have been very surprised if i was the only one who got the visa waiver/RPRF in the letter but i believe Joseph got similar letter from the officers.
