Hi hchalz,

Sorry to hear that , i just hope that you could find a quick fix on this one.

I thought my journey was over after I finally got the FBI report done. But CIC didn't like my police report from China, and they sent me a message asking for more formal copy.
It's gonna take some more time.

Re: Update from me.

Hi, Hchalz

Would you like to give us more detail about this issue?

I also got the Police report from China in this May, and there is no original certificate, just the notaried one, is it this problem?

Thanks, Gigi

Re: Update from me.

Sorry to hear this, but I think it's only a matter of time.I am not sure of the process for Chinese PC, but did you get it from your US embassy? This should typically be quicker that getting it from home - if the embassy does offer that consular service.

All the best.

Re: Update from me.

Normally notarized copy with English translation is sufficient for Chinese PC, like birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc. The notarization normally does not contain the original certificate, but the content of the original certificate has been incorporated in the notarized copy. Hope this clears out your concern.

Hey wantabnomination - thanks for the alternate link!

A question to the following folks: needhelp123, monteiromarcosb, iAlberta, vzaveri
Do you have any updates on passport requests? Your meds were done in May/June and others in that timeframe have got PPR or request for info. Your response will help us identify any PPR pattern (if we can!!)
Thanks, and all the best.

Yes, our spreadsheet is working in HTML format for now, but we still don't know what the problem was. Our old link (http://tinyurl.com/AINP-Tracking-System which you find in my signature box) is also working; you just need to click the "2010 CIC Process Timeline" tab which you find at the top of HTML spreadsheet.
