What_a_joke,
Call every one of them and find out their costs, all are different, It is better to talk to DMPs in your area.

Your insurance might not cover all the tests and costs, but can cover some costs. Also some DMPs take money directly and dont work with insurance...obviously for more $$ ....no negotiated costs for insurance plans etc...

But if you have a Flex account or a Health savings account.....All this expense can definitely be taken through these and would apply towards your deductible.

You will have to research by calling the DMPs & Insurance company.

guys....

I received the file number and the medical request today.
I am in Florida. When I checked the cic website for doctors, found 4 of them.
2 are in my insurance network. Does any one know if this medical exam is covered by insurance or if not, then how much is the cost here in Florida?

appreciate every feedback...

thanks,
SG

Update:
I received the tracking information from my DMP today, my medicals reached Ottawa on July 20th
He posted them on the July 14th

I would imagine that it takes about 2 weeks to a month for Ottawa CIC to process medical information and upload into their system.

Hence I can expect the status change to 'Medicals Received' in Middle of August latest.

hi,
I had my appointment with Dr. for medical Friday. Dr. charged $900 for me, my wife and 5 years old son(insurance not applied, Dr told claim myself if they reimburse). All went well including my family on test, but Dr. asked me to come back after 10 days due to my little over 130/80 BP. Anybody had same issue like me?
Bye

Yes, you are correct. Send it to that address & attach the barcode label on the envelop(also I did on back of the CC too).

Below is the email content that I received regarding PRPF

**********************

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

Every principal applicant and his/her accompanying spouse/common law partner is required to pay a Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) in the amount of $490 CAD or $490. USD. The RPRF must be submitted in the form of a money order, certified cheque or bank draft payable to the “Canadian Consulate General”. Please write your file number on the back of the cheque, money order or bank draft. The RPRF will be refunded if for any reason you do not immigrate to Canada.

**********************

I hope this answers your query.

Good Luck
-Kale.

Though in the instruction it says 2 photos, the doctor told me 3 photos are needed. So it is better to call your doctor regarding photo size and quantity.
