Why would you want to leave your eCAS access credentials on some unknown server? Status doesn't change that fast for us to have a server check it for us so frequently. And why take away the thrill of logging in and checking status every week?!

Hello all,

Couple of questions....

1- Has anyone use the following ECAS tracker? you put in your info once, but it checks on status updates few times a day. It seems legit, but I wanted to see if any of you use it before ? https://ecas.carroll.org.uk/

2- I just got my B number from the image of the cashed check. Online it says, "We started processing your application on June 30, 2010."
I know how to check the timeline that you guys update, but in respect to that, how does this relate? I have not received any medical request yet for example.... when can I expect that?

thanks
H

Hi Manny,

Havent received my AOR yet. Now I am worried that it might be lost in mail or something. Tried emailing cic but they sent me the same old response that it takes 30 weeks blah blah blah.

Is their any other way to get an answer out of them. I know my check got cashed so its not that they didnt receive it or didnt accept it.

Can you track your status online now?

Thanks.

Received it in a large white envelope through regular mail. You're case is about a week after mine - you should have the envelope in your mail box today or tomorrow!
Cheers.

I haven't received my AOR and Medical Request yet, but eCAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en) started showing my application status "In Process" today (I entered the "B" number written on the back of cashed check as my Immigration File Number on eCAS). The eCAS also says "We started processing your application on July 7, 2010."

My application reached Buffalo on Mar 25 (my Cashier's Check was encashed on Apr 20). So many of those who submitted their application mid-late March should be able to see their application status on eCAS using the "B" number, and AOR/Medical should arrive in a few weeks.

Reposting the below question again, as it got buried among other postings earlier and saw no responses. Appreciate any information on the below. Thanks !

This is a unqiue question. Some of you may remember me as I have been a member here since long and was in the same boat as most in this forum. I started my AINP process in Feb 2009 under the H1B stream. I just received my AOR. But I recently took employment in Alberta and have moved to Canada on a work permit a couple of months ago.
1) Any ideas or thoughts on where I should do my medicals now? Or what is the process for me to follow from here on?
2) And since I am here now, is there anything I can do to expedite the process?
3) Someone even suggested that I apply for PR again from within Canada as it would be even faster (I seriously doubt it) - Thoughts?

Any information on how best to proceed would be helpful. Thanks ! :)

Dear Friend:

If you are not getting the answers here, why don't you ask it to CIC or AINP?

Thanks Jasper. I sent my payment through Moneygram money order so not sure if there is a way to get a copy and get the B number from it.

Do you know of any way to contact buffalo where they actually look at your email and reply rather than giving the same old wait 30 week reply?

@Manny On eCAS what is your processing start date?

Thanks all.

CIC Buffalo: buffalo-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca (This is the only email address I know for CIC Buffalo)

But I think it is difficult to get answers for any case-specific questions from Buffalo if 20 weeks haven't passed since the application receipt date (because Buffalo website says not to contact them during the 20-week period: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/processing_times-delais_traitement.aspx?lang=eng)

There is a constant increase in the time lapse between application date and AOR. It's a matter of time and please give it some more time before you hit the panic button. My start date is June 29.
All the best!
