Folks,

I wanted to get the forum's guidance on my FBI and PCC validity. My time line is below.

When I submitted the application to CIC (on Jan 13 2010) I did *not* submit with FBI and PCC.
My PCC was issued On Jan 13th and the FBI was issued in March 3rd. I sent them in on May 7th to CIC after getting a file number.

Questions:
(1) Are my FBI and PCC going to be considered expired?
(2) Does is have to be 90 days from the date of submitting the original application? Or do we have to submit within 90 days after the documents are issued?

Please let me know your guidance.

Applied for AINP: March 23 2009
Request for documents from AINP: Nov 25 2009
Documents sent to AINP: Nov 25 2009
AINP Nomination: December, 10 2009
Application sent to CIC: Jan, 13 2010
(Application sent without PCC and FBI)
Request for medicals: May 9, 2010
Medicals done and sent to Ottawa: June 10, 2010

Guys please help. we are in the process of sending our application to CIC Buffalo as part of AINP. In Form IMM 0008 (application for permanent residence to Canada) there is space for applicants photo as well as for family members photo.

Do we have to paste the photos to IMM 0008 ourselves? Or we do not have to paste the photos ourselves? On the form IMM 0008, near the space for the photos the instructions say that the name and date of birth of each members must be written. If we paste these photos whats the use of writing the name and dt of birth at the back. This made me wonder if we have to paste the photos ourselves.

please advise.

You are not required to paste the photos. Here are the instructions from CIC Buffalo.

On the back of one photo (and only one) in each set, write the name and date of birth of the person appearing in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken.
•Enclose each set of photos in separate envelopes. Write the family member’s name, date of birth and relationship to you on the corresponding envelope and close the envelope with a paper clip.
•Photos must not be stapled, scratched, bent or bear any ink marks.

HI,

I am in the process of sending my application to CIC.
My question is when we make a cashiers\certified check for Principal and Spouse, Does it has to come from the Principal and Spouse respectively OR only from Principal applicant OR it doesn't matter. Below is the example.
EX 1
TO: Canadian Consulate General
From : Principal applicant

TO: Canadian Consulate General
From : Spouse

EX 2
TO: Canadian Consulate General
From : Principal applicant

TO: Canadian Consulate General
From : Principal applicant

EX 3
Does not matter.

Thanks

Does not matter as long as its right on the money :)

As long as the total is OK. They are happy.

The requirement is "The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application". This is to ensure that CIC gets a certificate that is not older than 3 months when they get your application. By that token your PCC and FBI certificates are good and I wouldn't worry.

If I were to send this, I would have added a cover letter indicating that I sent the original application to CIC on Jan 13 and the certificates being sent now are within the range required and I waited for the file number to send these.
