ONLY - Who submitted CIC-AINP(SRS-U.S. Visa Holder Category) application

Guys, I sent my passports (3 of them) to get the IM-1 visa stamped. Its been a good 12 days since I sent them. Any idea how longer I should wait or what I can do ? Perhaps call them ?

I have seen people getting it in one working wee to over a month also. I myself have submitted on thursday (05/13) to NY, lets see how long it takes. Which office you had to send your passports for Visa? Also, did u track and see if it was recieved? Any online status changed since then?

hi to alll ,igot nomination on 12may ,ihave some problem the ainp send me a kit , hea also tell me about language test not older then one year ,but my test is older than one year is there is complsery for both of us me and my wife do ielts test agian ,and how many band we required , plz tell me as soon as possibel

Thanks. Yes. I sent mine to the CIC NY on 05/03 and it reached them on 05/05 (checked with USPS). Nothing has changed on their website since.

Hi Despo,

I'll be landing this month with my wife and kid. My I94 is valid but H1-B is expired on passport. Would be using AVR but am little scared with the kind of risk involved.
Also, I do not have any address in Canada for getting my PR Card.
Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

CIC returned the application: 4/16/10 for I-797s, PP's copy and I-94
sent back to CIC: 4/16/10 along with I-797s (without PNP envelop level)
CIC received 2nd time: 4/19/10
check encashed: 5/13/10
got all Fingerprintings from FBI.
NO FSW

What is AVR?
I submitted by full PNP application (along with PCCs) to CIC on April 14th. Check cashed on May 13th.

Guys, I got my passports stamped with CPR. Nice it felt. I should thank you all for all the support. By the way, whats this goods to follow list ? Do I just type out a list on a sheet of paper, get it printed and take it with me?

Congrats!!! SO u r now ready for the final step. Great!!
Lets see when I will be getting my passports back. My mail reached them yesterday afternoon. Please keep us posted on your plans for Landing and any important preparations before landing.

I will do mine as soon as I get stamped passports. Summer would be best to finish all the formalities.

Talking about sending the complete application...

I received an email from the CIC with my file number B......101 asking me to send my Certificate of Nomination. The funny thing is I've sent it my CN with my application, back in Jan. So, maybe they misplaced somewhere. Anyhow, I have a copy of it that I made for my personal records and I'll send them right the way.

There's always an extra challenge, it's never clean and easy. But, this is what make it even more worthy!
