Hi All,

I have a question for all the seniors who have done the landing formalities. I am plannig to complete landing formalities and come back to US. My question is can we go to any other place where ever I get the job or is it has to be Alberta. If I went to some other place will there be any issues when I apply for citizenship.

Thanks,

No issues.. after you get your PR card you can go where you want. I am planning to do the same.

Have a question for the forum:

Last year nov I completed my medicals. I added my newborn son in December and we received his medical request last week. When I checked the medical practitioners list, the doctor we went to last year in NOv is not there in the list now (has been removed).

Since the medical instructions advise us to go to the same doctor for medicals for the whole family, what do i do? Go to another one (nearest doctor from the list) for my son or go to the same one (which is not in the list anymore)?

anyway, the medical practitioners list is down this morning again.....

Hi Jacaranda,

I also saw a doctor Dr Chmiel Boguslaw, chicago has been removed from DMP List. You can go to new doctor.

Thanks
Lee

Dr Chimel Boguslaw = Bogus and did not follow the law so he was removed from the DMP list.

Congrats Rubyalabar. Hopefully i will get my cards this week.

Thanks

Landed in Vancouver International airport last February 4 and we received our PR cards March 22. You can call the CIC call centre to ask for the status, it might take a while though and a lot of patience :) I was on hold for over 15 minutes before I was able to talk to an agent.

You can ask this question to CIC and I think they might just ask you to go to any other DMP that is currently listed.

At the airport at time of landing the immigration officer will ask you where the PR cards should be sent. That is your PR card application.
