Please advice accordingly,

I have received mine own FBI report (Applicant) but my spouse FBI fingure prints was rejected due to common reason of LOW QUALITY PRINT.
Now Should I apply to CIC without waiting for her FBI report or I should not.

One thing which scares me is by the time I will receive her report provided 2nd time submission is approved than by that time mine report will close enough to 90 days expiry limit.

What do you guys suggest.

go ahead and send the application without your wifes fbi. cic will request them with request for additional documents.

Hi Seniors,

I got Medical request yester day and they put the wrong date of birh in the Medical form.When I checked my eCAS with right date of birth it didn't show any thing but when I put wrong date of birth given in IMM 5419 it showed that application started processing on july 14 th.....Meaning they put the wrong date of birth in my file.
ANY ADVISE ON THIS? Do you guys think that I can go for Medicals or do I need to correct this before Medicals?
What is the best way to correct the information.
Do I need to pay Perminent Resident Fee now? or are they going to ask later point of time?

Hi

Send a fax to them abput the date of birth discrepancy.
You can continue with the Medicals. In these days, even one day delay may result in many days delay for the processing.
PR Fee - Will be requested along with passport request, I think.

If you can directly call and get the DoB discrepancy clarified, it is good.

I sent my passport by USPS Express, and included a self-addressed "stamped" (not metered) USPS Express envelope. Received passport with Visa stamp in 14 days.

I have a question regarding FBI fingerprint. Today I went to L1-Enrollment office for Finger printing in Austin, TX. They said they don't give finger print paper, they will do eletronic print then nation wide background check will do , send results back to my home address. They are not clearly saying that whether its FBI background check or not ? I told them its for Canada Immigration purpose.

So anybody can tell, how electronic fingerprint will work ? Whether I have to tell them any information ?

Why would you want to leave your eCAS access credentials on some unknown server? Status doesn't change that fast for us to have a server check it for us so frequently. And why take away the thrill of logging in and checking status every week?!

It doesn't change fast, but when it does change you want to know straight away - that's the point. Logging in every day only to find nothing has changed is demoralising, and a waste of time. That's why I built it. If you enjoy logging in every day, great. I didn't.

Some people have understandable concerns about confidentiality. I can't prove that the tracker isn't some strange scam, but you can search on google and you'll find a great many people posting who've found it legitimate and useful.

Oh and for reference, the "updated weekly, usually on mondays" thing is a total myth. I have no idea why CIC wrote that, as it's not true. e-CAS can, and does, update every day of the week.

I had an electronic finger print done in Chicago. They use the fingerprinting machine; so they do not do it on paper. Make sure they type in the right name and address in the computer ( mine got misplaced, I had to track it down). The good thing was I got my verification ( at least in Illinios) within a couple of days. Also, you might want to ask them to notarize it.

Regards the FBI, as far as I know (other members please respond if you know better), there is no electronic finger printing. You will have take you finger prints on a hard copy and send it to the address mentioned by CIC.

Thank you. My application was sent by my lawyer on 03/26. My assumption is it reached CIC on 04/01/10. Checks cashed on 04/22/10.

Hi All - Just an FYI...

Today, I see change in e-case status stating "Medical results have been received."

We did our medicals on 17-Jun-2010 and reports reached ottawa office on 22-Jun-2010.

u have to get PCC from your state and FBI.

For your state requirement u can get how the chicago PD said, but for FBI u need to send them finger prints on paper and wait 3 months.

SO if the local PD wont do fingerprints go to a private agency and get it done.
