ONLY - Who submitted CIC-AINP(SRS-U.S. Visa Holder Category) application

IS there anyone who have submitted their medicals in Jan/Feb and still waiting for PRR. Please share your time lines.

My timelines are:

Medicals done - 2Feb
Medicals Sent - 18th Feb
File transferred to NY - 9th Feb
Status Changed to 'Medical Received" - 05th May
PRR - Waiting

Folks, I have some good news, I just heard from the lawyer that they have received my file number and request for medicals. My timeline to date is below.

I have two quick questions:

(1) Any recommendation for doctors in the Washington,DC / Virginia / Maryland area? Any good/bad expereinces?
(2) What should I be careful with during the medical exam? Any watchouts in what I say/tell the doctor?

Please let me know your guidance.

I did my medicals at the Reston Hospital. They took more than 2 weeks to send my results. Also, I had a followup tests and when I asked them if they have sent it. After calling many times I realized that they had never sent it. You will have to be ready to keep calling and do follow ups.

1) You've got to check the current DMP list and call for rates. You'd be surprised with the range. I traveled from NC to NJ to save a few hundred $. Check this post from a year ago.

2) I did not hide anything from the Dr, don't think it matters imo.

CIC returned the application: 4/16/10 for I-797s, PP's copy and I-94
sent back to CIC: 4/16/10 along with I-797s (without PNP envelop level)
CIC received 2nd time: 4/19/10
check encashed: not yet
NO FSW

How much does it cost ?

I dont remember the exact amount but it was close to 415$ including the chest Xray for me. An additonal 70$ for my wife to take one of her tests.

I would like to know that .. as your details say you didnt send the PCCs with your application to CIC.
did they ask for PCC along with the medicals?.. or you had already sent PCCs somewhere back in the past as Supplement to your initial application?

Mine is cashed on 4/29th.

1) Do we need to update the CIC Application status to AINP Alberta( some body said in this form).
2) Any body tried their status with the number on the back of encached cheque copy.

I have submitted my application to CIC and waiting for AOR/Meds. My wife's passport is expiring in 4 to 5 months. I recollect we had to send copy of passports to CIC -is there anything I need to do after getting fresh passport upon renewal?

We have a similar situation. We plan to send copies of the new passport once we receive our AOR.

a new passport from San francisco Indian embassy is delivered in 2 weeks and can be applied 6 months ahead.
