Guys,
If my check has been encashed, does it mean that the application is under process.
Does it also mean that CIC will not cancel it unless ofcourse there is some unusual error, (which i dont think there is)
What happened to IT peeps was pretty bad, but I guess that can not happen to other NOC professionals, right ? atleast not after the CIC is cashing the check.
I am planning to make some job change/career change, and I dont want it to mess up my CIC application.
Any thoughts?

Thanks everyone for their suggestions.

I called FBI and their response was that they cant guarantee if resubmission can make the process any faster. Yesterday, I have resubmitted my fingerprints. I will wait for another 3 weeks and after that I will send my CIC application with or without FBI report.

My application to CIC was delievered on 3/17 and I got package back today. I had forgot to put my address when I was between 18 to 20. ( I had it on the original page I sent to AINP. I forgot to copy last line when I typed it again for CIC.)

Did they cash your MO/check and did you send PCC/FBI? I suppose they had a letter mentioning why the package is being returned.

Other folks who've completed these steps:
would CIC send it back again if some PCC or other doc is missing later or will this return be after they complete the doc checking due diligence?

Can anybody provide input on how many days it takes for LA Consulate to return passports with Visa and the landing docs (COPR?)?.

Our passports reached the consulate on 3/23 and am still waiting at this time. In the meantime, I may have to travel to Europe in April on business and am not sure what to tell my Boss! (ofcourse, he doesnt know abt my immigration plans!)

Please post your experiences.

No CIC will send you a letter requesting missing documents... They usually return the application the first time due to inconsistencies within the form itself.

They sent entire package back including bank draft.
I did send all PCC/FBI for me and my wife.
They attach a letter which tells you exactly what is missing or wrong.

I received notification (AOR) with request for medical by regular mail. Then I received an email few days ago stating that my file was transferred to Canadian Consulate General in New York City, NY.

Did you get the AOR request through email, or was it regular mail.
It has been pretty fast for you. Keep up the pace.
