Hello,
I got PR using AINP. I didn't landed yet. I got a full time job offer in Quebec, the company wants to start immediately maybe in March 1st week.

Can someone tell me is it okay to go to Quebec, Instead of the Alberta or ignore the job offer.

Thanks

Any update on this

Alberta asks for pasting the nomination sticker on Envelope. Do I need to paste it on fedex cover or do I need to put all documents in an envelope and paste sticker on it . Then place the entire envelope in Fedex cover.
Just curious so that package does not get lost....

Flames,

The sticker should be placed on bottom right hand corner of an envelope.

Thanks

VSRAO AND JASPER have created a nice CIC TRACK SHEET. You can see all the required information on this file. This link has been posted by Jasper previously. Hope this help .

Also when did they cashed your check ?

Thanks

Thanks for the tracker link.

My foreign bank draft has been paid on 12th Jan 2010. Any idea how long it takes to hear from CIC Buffalo after draft been cashed.

Should I call CIC Buffalo office and check the status. Where can I find the CIC Buffalo number.

Thanks,

Just one thing, I assume with expired visas you entered using the AVR rule.... am I accurate? great going!

Can anyone tell if I will be eligible to use AVR rule if me and my wife have "unexpired stamped H1b visas" but now have converted status to "F1 Student i-797"?

Karl

Thanks Karl. Yes, I invoked AVR to reenter US with expired visa. To your question about rentry with different visa, I am inclined to say "yes you can".
This is based on the (2)(i) of the following URL http://travel.state.gov/visa/laws/telegrams/telegrams_1441.html
Also, refer http://www.ice.gov/sevis/travel/faq_f2.htm

However, I suggest getting confirmation from Immigration attorney or someone in similar situation who has been successful recently.

I hope this helps.

It took about 3 months for me to receive request for medicals after Buffalo encashed my check.

in IMM 0008 generic form, there is a space reserved for applicant's photo... do we need to paste photo ??

No

Just place the photos in a small envelope and staple it to the second page and make sure the staple doesn't pass through the pictures.

Do we need to include our AINP nominee certificate in the package to CIC?

according this link, yes,
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/quebec_prov_hints-conseils.aspx?lang=eng

But, in Buffalo office's instruction Appendix A, PNP certificate is not included in the list.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf

Also, this link says
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-how.asp
1. Obtain a certificate of provincial nomination.
"Once you have been successfully nominated by a province, you will receive a certificate of provincial nomination. Please note that a copy of this certificate will be sent directly to the visa office by the province or territory. For this reason, it is not required for you to submit a copy of your certificate with your application."

Which one should we follow?

All you've said is true. It shouldn't be necessary to send the certificate of nomination to the CIC. BUT, do it anyways! There was at least a person in the forum who got the application returned from CIC just because he/she didn't included it with the application.

Just make sure you make a copy of it to yourself before you send it.

Okay,

whoever (which I have an idea who it's) is giving me these negative ratings and thinks it's funny, why don't you just grow up!

If you can't take a small criticism you're in the wrong place my friend. Anyhow, I don't mind this at all, and this is the last time I'll complain about this form of behavior. Like I've said before, we're all here to help each other.

Too bad some people think they own this forum! :)
