Thanks Despo. Here is my timeline. Also, I got the passport request without state police certificates?? is this normal? they never asked for that.

Congrats Shyli !! That is a best year ending xmus gift for you and your familiy. Could you please post your timeline and how did you get passport request? by email or by snail mail?

Shyli congrats once again and thank you for posting your timeline. Your file transferd to NY on 18th and mine is transfered on 1st september. One more person out there who got letter dated 17th december for PPR. Well i must say that you are lucky though that they did not ask for state pccs. But this holiday season you should take anything you get from Santa. Your ecase status will be updated one they stamp visa in your passport till than you will see same status on ecase "Medical Results Received" and "In process" Once they stamp visa your status will be Decision made and one more line will be added saying Decision has been made and you will be notified of decision in writing.. somthing like this.

My PR card also arrived in Calgary and all the documents were mailed to me using UPS Express and the package is stuck in the custom. I am not sure why, but when I track my package, it says 'Exception" and if I click for more detail, it says "EXPORT GATEWAY HOLD". I have no idea what is going on. I hope the package gets here sooner or later.

Do you guys think I should notarize copies of my passport front page and H-1B status.

I had the same question and asked my lawyer. The answer was that we are not required to submit notarized copies at this time. But any document not in English or French must be translated by a certified translator and we need to send original PCCs to Buffalo, not copies.

BTW my nomination was approved last month and I'm collecting all documents for Buffalo now.

This is unbelievable.
Miled my passport to NY (fedex) on monday morining 9:01am.
NY received the passport next day tuesday 9:25am.
Just now 3:25pm thursday received passport back with PR VISA & COPR
God is good.
