Dear ALL,
Many of the forum members who have received PPR and nearing to land in Canada can just visit Winners Dubai a shop opp Ramada Hotel in Bur Dubai which is a few steps away from Choitram supermarket to buy winter clothing suitable for canadian weather. I had been there yesterday and found many good brands from North Face and Columbia at discounted prices. If you visit these stores at Dubai Mall the prices are more than double.
You can call on 04-3590122 for any further enquiries. I am no agent for them but since I found it a place to visit for all aspiring Canadian immigrants from Dubai I felt to share the same.

One thing is important clothings must be light weight, the amount of insulation u need in canada for your body is much higher than here, insulation material inside jackets for here is different, if it is very thick it will be difficult to wear all the time there in canada

The materials sold there is not intended for the people living in Dubai as the winter here is not harsh.
The entire stuff is for tourists from European countries who come on vaccation here.

Another notable place to shop is BRANDS FOR LESS at AL- Diyafah street , Satwa. Now the road is renamed 2nd December .
