Hi,

I am planning to apply for PR (Express entry) and going through required documentation and came up with a doubt.
My name on my 10th, 12th and graduation degree is just my first name, while all other documents (including passport, all job experience letters) having first name and last name. Will it create any problem at any level like assessment level (through WES or some other body) ?
If it can create, what can I do to overcome situation ?

Regards

As part of the WES process you have to send in your diploma and you have to request that your university sends in a complete transcript to WES.

That means that they will have more than enough information.

When you then submit your documentation later on, after having received an ITA, you also just need to send in your diploma and your WES report.

So as long as the complete transcript that your university sends in is fine, I dont see why that should cause any issues. If you want to make sure, you can always add a Letter of Explanation to your submitted application after ITA to explain it there as well.

Have you already started looking into taking the language test as well? Language test and education assessment are your first two steps.

Thanks for reply.
I have been doing some preparation before giving language exam. For WES process, my university will not send any letter (It is in India, Agra University). I am trying to get my transcript in sealed envelope by them. I will be sending same envelope to WES. Hopefully, that should be ok approach.

Another question, I forgot to ask in initial post. On what basis should I select assessment organization ? Or I can pick any one of below ?
•Comparative Education Service – University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies
•International Credential Assessment Service of Canada
•World Education Services
•International Qualifications Assessment Service
•International Credential Evaluation Service

(For reference, I am from India, but working in USA right now. I did B.Sc (3 years program))

You can pick any of them. I used the 'Comparative Education Service' and I can't recommend them enough. Thoroughly professional from start to finish. Very easy process to work through. I respect the fact that other people have had good experiences with WES and other assessment organizations.

I used WES myself. Didnt have any issues and received my WES report within about 2-3 weeks.

WES offers a free quick assessment so you can get a rough idea on what to expect from the actual report.

As long as you can get a sealed and signed transcript in an envelope from your university, you should be fine.
