Hello all,

Im going to apply for my citizenship next month. I have a few questions:
1. Is Paper faster than Online applications?
2. If I do apply online , will all the correspondence from Immigration be online?

Thanks!!

1. Go with online (based on my experience)
2. Yes even including oath ceremony

Recently, paper applications have been processed the fastest. That's been the trend. Don't know about the future but as of now, paper is the way to go.

Looking at your signature, your application was done during peak-covid time so there's been a massive delay at your end. However, these days online applications are taking much more time than paper applications.

Online applications are taking almost double the time of paper applications. You can check April 2022 and May 2022 forums.

Definitely no one can tell the future but currently this is the situation.
