Online visa processing time

Hi Guys,
I am Indian PhD student for Summer intake in University of calgary. I applied for online visa study permit from USA on 9th March. Its been 50days I have not received any reply or notification.
I am wondering how long does it take ?
I have neccesary university funding exceeding the cost of education and living. Additionaly, I have enough financial asset to support myself.
If someone can please comment on why it is taking such a long time ?

My brother applied on april 14 and we got passport request on april 27.he applied online too.Processing time for indian embassy is 3 weeks but online applications can be processed outside of india too

if you check the processing time for us:

Los Angeles – United States 5
New York – United States 11

so if your file processed in LA this is the time but if New York you should still wait.
