Hi Priya,

Current processing time at the Bangalore visa office is about 2 months.

Do keep in mind that processing time varies from case to case.... and the time stated should only be considered as a guide

All the best :)

Indicative processing time is 2 months for your case.... it won't really help to worry :)

Just curious to know why you applied separately for your wife and yourself.... and again, an online application in one case.... paper application in the other?

btw when did you submit your application at the New Delhi VAC?

Bryanna, Thank u... ??? ???
Hello Friends,

In new to this forum. May be I am not posting this message in the right place. Please excuse me for that. I have a tricky situation.

My mom has a 5 years multiple visa for canada which expires in September 2015. However she is planning to visit my sister this August and stay there until December 2015. My question is, can she apply for her new multiple visa before the previous one expires or does she need to wait until expiry of her old visa. Seniors please advise. I am confused.

Thank you
Sameer

Hi Sameer,

Your mom must wait until the current TRV expires before she applies for a new one.

As her TRV is expiring shortly, you may want to contact the visa office (through an email) to enquire if they will consider a new application at this stage. Otherwise there's a possibility that the new application will be refused because the current TRV is still valid.

She can travel to Canada on the existing TRV.... however, her entry/authorized period to remain in Canada will depend on the immigration officer who assesses her admissibility

Hope this helps
