Online vis application sent

Hi fella,

Just to let you that I sent the visa application for my MIL (Visitor visa, not super visa) and they sent a confirmation letter. The visa office responsible for my country is Dakar, Senegal in Africa. I would like those who applied for the same visa office to share their time line. I would let know of the outcome or any update I get.

Good morning fella,
What`s a very good morning, My MIL was told to send in her passport. I hope this mean stamping the visa. A decision has been reached after only 4 days. I sent the application last week Thursday 6 august 2015.

Documents submitted:
-Application forms.
-Employment letter: 50 K/year (myself)
-4 Months pay stub (myself)
-4 Months bank statements (balance 9 200 CAD) (myself)
-Provisional booking
My MIL doesn’t work, no property, no bank account on her name.
For family ties, all the family lives back home.
So she did not provide any document exept photo and the photocopy of her passport
This was an online application

I sent my MIL`s passport to VAC that cover my country. Am I going to get notified when the Canada high commission receives the passport?

can anyone plz tell me for applying online visa application,is it necessary that the principal applicant must apply from MYCIC or sign in partner ?
or spouse in Canada can apply on principal applicants behalf??(spouse in Canada has mycic account)

You can apply on behalf of the applicant. But the signature must be the applicant name. That is what I di for my MIL. I did everything.

My MIL`s got her passport today with 5 years multiple entry visa
