Aloha fellow denizens of this amazing forum!

First of all apologies if this has been answered somewhere. Nothing showed up in my limited research, so here I am posting this.

It’s that exciting time for me where I’ll be eligible to apply for my Canadian citizenship soon (woot, woot!). So my question is, that when I do, should I go the paper application route or apply online? I checked and I’m eligible for online application. I’ve been following this forum for a while now and a few months ago I saw posts that promoted the paper route over online. Is that still the case? Any pros/cons of either that I should be aware of?

Appreciate any advice and help! And good luck to everybody on this exciting journey!

Cheers!!

Hey @Maryam2020! So online application is much more convenient. Also according to this response online seems to be a little bit faster and in GTA (where I am) it actually doesn't matter. So considering all of that I'm leaning towards applying online. Also it seems its not easy to accurately estimate which method moves faster so at some point its taking a leap of faith based on your preferences/feelings. Hope that helps!

Thank you. It makes sense. I google so much and I can't tell which one is better. I probably do an online application as well.atleast you will see if your documents are complete right away.
