I'm inquiring for an online Spanish tutor I'm currently working with. She is from Venezuela but currently living and working in Columbia as an online tutor. She works full-time as an online tutor and speaks English. How difficult would it be for her and her young son to immigrate to Canada? What are the requirements?

Yes I read this information but was wondering if anyone had personal experience with this type of situation.

Start by researching the Express Entry program. This is a points based program and you need around 470 points to be selected at this time. If she doesn't have enough points for Express Entry, she will need to look into the provincial nominee programs.

Immigrating to Canada can be challenging, but your online Spanish tutor has options. As a full-time tutor from Venezuela, she may qualify under the Express Entry system for skilled workers. She’ll need to demonstrate her English proficiency through tests like IELTS or CELPIP, have her educational credentials assessed, and provide proof of work experience. If she has family in Canada, they might be able to sponsor her. Gathering necessary documents and understanding the process is key, so consulting the official Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website or a registered immigration consultant can be very helpful.
